In SHNI 1 lot or the maximum 66 lots carry the same chance to get 1 lot by lottery.

It means 1 out of 14 Shni apps will get allotted.

​@Thiagarajan Ramasamy In SNII if application of 14 lots has same chance of allotment as an application of 66 lots then why some people apply for more than 14 lots? Are people blocking more than Rs 8 or 9 lakh without knowing rules of allotment? I am talking about such IPO s where it is known that IPO will be oversubscribed

Group Structure & Gross debt.

According to me, a company giving hefty dividends one after another and not using that in business is Red flag. Vedanta going the adani way now, spinoffs of everything !! Havent seen the shareholding but it would be max retail holdings i bet.

as @newgen consultancy sir says , exit on bounce , way better things available in market.

If yes - off topic - possible for you to list top 5 companies with highest revenue exposure to Canada?

Also holding good amount in VEDL since long-term. Enjoyed significant dividend over the last 1.5 years, so not cribbing about the price fall this year.

I guess market's immediate concern is around $1.5B re-payment due in next 6 months, but I believe he will re-finance this USD loan via extension from PSU banks (as all his other tactics of asset-sale, privatisation, etc have failed)

From macro-economic POV, once the base-metals cycle resume this can be a pure-play with possible cleaner BS.

No, I don't have or use Bloomberg terminal and to make my long term fundamental investment I don't need complex data as well.
Investment is very simple if you keep it simple.
I just need to see sector in focus, business model of company, sales & profit growth , management intention & capabilities, financial and return ratios.

Things won't be as simple for Anil Agarwal as you are thinking. Anil Agarwal is not Adani.
The parent company of Vedanta is saddled with debt and the dividend which were distributed weren't for benefit of minority shareholders but for parent company to repay debt.
Govt. objection in Hindustan Zinc & now Moody's downgrade made things very difficult for Anil Agarwal.
The only option is to sell assets & equity.
