New Norm for IPO listing preopen session coming soon...... 9:25 cut off for cancellation or order modification. After 9:25 order cannot be modified or cancelled ...only new order can be placed. Will this change the listing day preopen madness? to be seen...
I Applied for 2001 shares i.e. 69 lots and i was eligible for hNII category being amount crossed 10 lakhs. Since the Subscription was only 52 times, i should have necessarily got the allotment of at least one lot as per the calculation given by the CHITTORGARH team. But i did not get any. Something is fishy in the process of IPO allotment
See the calculation. for being eligible in bHNI category one has to apply for 69 lots. it cannot be oversubscribed till the total subscription is 69 times. since it is 52 times subscription, total no. of applications (one PAN no. each) are less. Accordingly, everyone should get allotment. See the calculation given by CHITTORGARH team on which platform we are posting msg. They have also same view.

I have a quick question regarding the IRM allotment. I applied from three different accounts for ten lots each under the retail segment. However, I haven't received a single lot of allotment this time for any of the account. My assumption was that for a ten-times oversubscribed issue, I should get one lot if I apply for ten lots from an account. However, in this case, even after applying for thirty lots, I haven't received any.
Can any one confrim what would be the reason for non allotment and if my assumption is correct or not?

There is no proportionate basis allotment in mainboard ipo's. Its all lottery. Whatever higher lots you apply your application is considered as 1 application and it goes in lottery. So higher lots doesnt makes sense, you just need to apply minimum lots specified in each category. Rules have changed, even bhni is also lottery these days.
@P RAM PAVAN KUMAR my cousin brother have 5 demate account & this time he apply only 1 retail minimum ammount application from 1 demate, & he got allotment.....

When number of valid Applications received exceeds the number of LOTs available to Retail Category, then all the Applications will be treated as Sigle Lot Applications, irrespective of number of lots applied whether it for One lot or for 13 lots.
All your Applications are treated as single lot Applications, and none of your application was Lucky enough to get allotment.
Sometimes you do not get allotment for months and then suddenly you get one after another. It is just pure luck, nothing else..
Keep on applying, लगे रहो...all the best..

It's like this. If retail category is less 1 times oversubscribed then you get full allotment. In case it's oversubscribed then it's a lottery. In retail, normally people apply 1 lot only. So even if it's subscribed vy say 1.5 then very likely you will get one lot only. So look at subscribtion figures before you apply more than one lot in retail.
Apply onlyt 1 retail LOT per PAN in an oversubscribed IPO. Because irrespective of the number of lots one applies, the allotment would be (suppposedly )decided by a lottery.

@S Aggarwal Yes, that can be one of the reasons and they are many others to accrue to positive opening like fall in crude prices, somewhat negotiation talks emerged to end war, rise in BTC prices, covering of bond shorts by marquee investors, expiry day of our Index having recently gone by.
