@techuser Last time buy back price was 4500 i bought at 3750 (many shares at that price ) history says thay every time when TCS came up with IPO AR will be 100% and market price will reach to B.B price at the end of record date. That was general scenario. But last time because of Ukraine Russia war global market fell like fallen knife And indian market was not exceptional market also fall and stock falls more than market 😑
From my purchase price of 3750. It fell near to 2900 at the time of record date and every one participating in buy back. because of that AR WAS too low <20% . This is my first learning from market that FOMO is devil.
But I am still holding shares of TCS it's more than 2 years now it's near to my purchase price. because of dividend I am at break even.
General rule for b.b is that if market price is near to B.B price at record date then AR will be higher because people thinks that it will cross B.B price in near future so they will sell in market and wise a versa.
