@KAMMA SIVA RAMA KRISHNA Some times I feel that when PSUs come with OFS, this is the best time to exit from holding shares. Take the example of HUDCO only. Whenever the OFS is que from PSUs, the prices start increasing. Take the example of IRFC. See the h/l of last 4 months.
OFS is expected any time. There as some good examples of OFS in past. One of the best, Power Grid. Recent past was HAL. Today defense sector is the call of the day.
Bad examples of OFS are more. Specially for short-term, not advisable. Now these days PSUs are in lime light. All sector are increasing.
HUDCO now below floor price. Subscription by non retailers are different. LIC and such companies invest the most at the time of OFS. One Govt. company to another Govt. Company. But the retail investors are loosers. Specially small with limited funds are taken to ride. Big blows by COAL INDIA, NMDC and some more are the example. Coal Inia has the worst record. Buy Back and OFS. Govt. made funds at the cost of retail investors.
Always be careful in choosing and applying OFS of PSUs. I am holding many PSU shares from last 15 years or so.
Not applying in HUDCO.
