Yes, Gujarat Gas made a new 52 week low today and IGL & MGL is down more than 10%.

Sir IGL and MGL both are down due to the news of Delhi Govt news on cab company to use EV, so 30% of volume of revenue will be affected, whereas IRM has no effect due to this as it has business mainly in Gujarat. please let me know if I am wrong.

​@Jetha Lal bhai, I am repeating it here, but today's crack in IRM's peers is an over-reaction. The policy change applies to Delhi, so IGL alone deserved hammering if at all, in my opinion. Those companies which don't have exposure to Delhi GA (including IRM), will make a strong comeback next week when clarity emerges - maybe even IGL. But the opportunity to apply in IRM will be lost.

Anyway, it is a personal call end of the day.

There is always difference in respect any of two companies, in various parameters such as scale of business, quality of clients, opportunity to grow etc.

Hence, no two companies are identical and there will be difference in financial parameters too.

Business model of this company is not bad and promoters are well known. It would be difficult to estimate the actual value of the Company for any person.

How many persons have foreseen that the script of BSE touches Rs.1,580 from about Rs. 570 about three months back?

Always there is an element of uncertainty in the market as in the case of life.

Hence, treating persons who have applied are ignorant of the market fundamentals, may not be proper.

Of course, I submitted 4 applications (2 retail and 2sHNI)

​@ValueSeeker And sir, adding to your point, the order is proposed for 7 years down the line, that is a lot of time, and we all know how Govt. orders go through and what exactly the end results comes of those orders. Geopolitical tensions will make it volatile only when the gas areas get affected globally, as currently major focus has turned to crude. Knee jerk reaction to all gas companies does not mean that other gas consumption is totally swayed away with. This is the dip to be bought upon, that's my view.

Agreed about IGL w.r.t Delhi govt policies and how about MGL?
Presently, MGL operates in 3 Geographical areas (GA) namely Mumbai & Greater Mumbai (GA1), Adjoining areas of Mumbai (GA2) and Raigad District (GA3),It has established a firm presence with a dominating market share in the Greater Mumbai (GA1) distribution business which contributes ~75% of revenues as per 2021.
And why Gujarat Gas is at ATL who is direct competitor of IRM?

​@Jetha Lal bhai, that exactly is what I wrote above. Markets are known to over-react and draw undue and unfair parallels. To give a loose example, I remember how Hero Motocorp (then, Hero Honda) used to be hammered much more on poor results or monthly numbers of Bajaj Auto, and vice versa. And used to rebound when the dust settled.

@pRACE Does MGL operate in Delhi? If the order is for Delhi, why would MGL be affected?
