I added HAL and bought back L&T tendered in buyback. In my opinion, midcaps generally take more time to recover after sharp cracks.
JSW Infra, I'm still holding good chunk of IPO allotment, didn't consider buying today.

Hello all, I have 3 questions related to Minor account, would be helpful for all if someone can give detailed clarity.

1. I have seen many experts suggesting HDFC Bank + Prostocks combination. How is the application made??
- Minor Internet Bank login > IPO application OR
- Parents Bank Login > IPO Page OR
- Is it possible to apply from prostocks app with UPI and then approve ? (in my opinion this option will not work since UPI limit for minor is 2000/5000).

2. Anyone using the combination of SBI + Prostocks for minor application. In case yes, please suggest how do you make an application. Now since third party is disabled, will minor internet banking directly accept ASBA Application from minor account?

3. If we have a Zeordha / any other broking account for minor, which bank accepts minor as a beneficiary? People who already make minor ASBA application can throw some light.

Sorry for the list of questions, but I'm exploring convenient options as I have to open multiple minor accounts, response will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance!!

Hi, Even i am exploring but so far as per gathered information planning to use HDFC minor account (Kids advantage account) with minor pan card, has mandatory 1000 rs RD and no debit card and no net banking facility and have spoken at prostocks they allow to sell ipo shares on listing day if alloted. Request seniors to correct if above option is good.

The main problem here is threads , Threads  having 1 to 1.30 messages it's always showing on top of the inbox interested members r taking it ,those who r not not interested they feel boring & irritating..,
A small suggestion from my side to @Admin @ Chittorgarh.com 
1, 2 ,3 messages & soo on
If the messages r new it should be appear on top of inbox
ex; 4th message(new message)should be on top(4,3,2,1)
If the messages are inside the threads so it should not come on top of the inbox.
ex; 1.1 message is there it should be in order of
(4,3,2,1,1.1,1.2,1.3& so on)
If it is 5th message (new message)so it should come on top of the inbox.
ex; 5,4,3,2,1,1.1,1.2 & so on
If thread 1 have upto 1.30 messages also it will not appear on top of inbox soo no problem for others..
Those who r interested they go to that thread or (search the message) in inbox & they do there business.

Although threads which make more replies is trending but sometimes we miss important messges due to it.

🔥🔥🔥 I would like to again jump for off topic discussion, repeated questions, various kinds of spams issue in particular IPO page. FYI.. i'm more interested in the solution because this discussion is going nowhere other than one more off topic discussion in this IPO page.

🔥🔥🔥 The issue is, XYZ people thinks ABC people's post is relevant/irrelevant and vice versa, some says all kinds of discussion should be allowed and rest says jane do na hame is-se kya lena dena, etc.. However, i'm strongly in favor of contributing to site improvement, content filtering, avoiding possible spams without delay instead of just taking free benefits of this site, earning money from valuable posts of Chittorgarh family!

✨ Major problems (if we allow all kinds of posts in all ipo pages):
❌ 1. Never ending duplication.
❌ 2. Never ending repeated questions.
❌ 3. Heavy spam and may hit to performance of the site for owner in the future.
🔥 4. Search limitation for old and new users. For e.g. If user can't search valuable content which is roaming around all IPO pages then what's the use of reply which is time being in particular IPO page? So please don't recommend all kinds of discussion in all IPO pages. We have very high rate of repeated questions and duplicate posts in each IPO pages along with replies.
❌ 5. New users repeated posts which might solution in some IPO pages but nobody knows where?

✨ High level solutions (if we want to filter out contents and some solutions to above problems):
✅ 1. Create various categories (HUF, Stock Discussion, Bank, Demat etc..) and respective pages like you see in forum.
✅ 2. Select category for new post/reply -> Restriction/warning to user during posting if unrelated. This option may reduce/filter out more than 30% unrelated posts and spams according to my opinion.
✅ 3. Strict spam filtering (automated and manual).
✅ 4. Move option for admin/role based users (Put move icon near spam -> dropdown will show with all categories and selecting one and move will move post to that category and won't show in particular IPO page). This is my personal opinion because of n number posts coming from the user everyone and remove burden for admin so repeated again).
✅ 5. Manual content monitoring (requires man power for owner so we can't comment more on this).
✅ 6. Implementing great search functionality
etc..

Let's stop this discussion after this thread considering its too much and let @Admin @ Chittorgarh.com work on the solutions suitable for them in future and whenever they get the time. Again, you are mixing everything in one unknown page which remains less valuable probably just after a month. Let's try to think beyond convenience v/s professionally organized content which user can browse and search easily.

It is nothing but our daily habit which is not allowing us to think more so we are again jumping to have everything in single page which is impossible. However, linking existing content in current IPO page is easy, don't worry much for that.. just creating good framework is enough and constant improvement will fix all such issues.

PS: As a software engineer, I have mentioned couple of examples; atleast some of the less complexity items can be implemented according to admin's convenience and man power availability.

​@Krishna T ✨ Sir, i admit the examples you gave as per your field of experience are the benchmark which should be imitated as far as possible and it will yield more than good if they can be. But any given forum is a collection of people having different mindset and different thinking strategy. New users, want everything right at their table, its their habit and as you said which can't be changed just like that. This beautiful place is known for its IPO Segment and all of the respected members who have been here for so long now, sharing immense knowledge and sharing updates at fingertips of users. And by this same thesis users, probably both old and new, will seldom pay heed to old inactive pages for off topic discussions. We can't restrict what one posts. But what we, especially the Admin authority can do is to categorise content on every page as per keywords and topics and promote and encourage users to see the category content before asking the duplicate queries. Its our duty as users to aid the Admin in their work and promote changes that are needed for good. Because not every IPO will have each and every type of such discussions. The issues might be similar or different each time around. Our another respected member @ValueSeeker  rightly said that off topic discussions are surely not desired and are considered noise, but this means even short lived healthy debates will die without any fault and that hurts basic "discussion" theme of any forum. Maybe iam entirely wrong but maybe somewhat correct, thats up to the Admin and other respected members to decide.
