The Employee Portion got over-subscribed almost 50x. Employees are the best people to know about the prospects of the company. It will definitely list at a huge premium and is a gold mine in the long term.

Yeah I miss the decimal between 1 and 3.

And I truly agree that employees knows the know-what of the company and their subscription figure may act as a barometer.

I believe that the company is gud and performing gud too and it would list on a very crucial time i.e. union budget and any gud news will have positive results on price.

The GBS sought by the railway ministry is about 7 per cent higher than GBS of Rs 70,250 crore allocated for the financial year 2020-21 in last year''''s budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. It may be noted that the GBS was at Rs 69,967 crore in 2019-20 and Rs 55,088 crore in 2018-19.

A railway ministry official told BusinessToday.In on condition of anonymity that the ministry has made a budget representation to the finance ministry with higher capital outlay this year.

"In our budget representation, we have pegged the total outlay for Railways at Rs 1,80,000 crore for 2021-22 to the Ministry of Finance. Out of this, GBS of Rs 75,000 crore has been demanded," the official said.

The total capital expenditure for which representation has been made by the ministry is 12.5 per cent over the previous year''''s budget estimate on the outlay. The ministry, however, is hopeful that the government will approve Railway budget size of at least Rs 1,70,000 crore, which essentially will mean a 6 per cent increment in the size of the Railway budget.
Balance shortfall will be met mostly from IRFC

IRFC is the first Public Sector IPO of the Busiest Divestment period of this FY. It''s failure will hurt government divestment tremendously.

Even if there is no listing gain or it goes down below IPO price post listing for some period , it will be difficult for government to absorb the indirect cost of failure of this IPO when tax revenues are already in doldrums.

This is IMO. Suno sabki par karo sirf apne man ki.

Agar NII ne 100 x subscribe kiya hota tab sab log bolte ki ye 32 pe list Hoga . But 3 IPO ek Sarah aane ki vajahase ye Jada subscribe nhi hua. But still a huge IPO of 4600 cr managed 3 times.
As it was not much demanding.
Might be HNI n QIB is of view to buy it on listing day as there will be a chance to buy the stock around IPO price. And then it will run upward. Hope for a Gland story. Kuch log Gland ko listing day par kharidana chahate the at below IPO price...hahaha

It will open at Rs 36 and will stabilize at Rs 45. One can book profit on listing, however will miss dividend which will be in the range of Rs 7 - 9 per share.

Atleast check the last three year dividend of IRFC before writing on this forum. It was Rs. 0.20 to 0.53. yes the highest one is 53 paise. In this price range of Rs.20-28 share, best dividend yield are of two PSU SJVN and NHPC.

As per dividend policy of IRFC minimum dividend will be 30% of EPS or 5% of networth of the company (which has gone up due to fresh issue)
Above is minimum as per CPSE rules but i don''t think company will be higher than that as it leverage saved money 8 to 9 times by way of giving leased assets to Indian Railways

How does GMP affects the listing day price

IRFC is a good company but the timing of the issue and size matters a lot. Hope it will list discount 1RS and close tag below issue Price. History is when big size IPO will not do better on listing day. ICICI Prudential, CAMS many examples there(few exceptions also there).
Suggests who are all allotted Sell with Marginal Profit and reenter in the lower level.

WHAT IS ALLOTMENT CHANCES FOR 4 APPLICATION APPLIED FOR 1-1 LOT EACH ? either 1 or 2?
