I was allotted with Cartrade shares in IPO. On the closure day of IPO GMP was around 20%. Whole thing vanished on listing day and rest is all know ):

I later exited at 50% loss.

Thats why when GMP is around 20% or less, it doesn't give me much confidence to apply for multiple applications

Hello, anybody knows to whom to contact in case of funds not released in bank account?

Fund is blocked in my SBI account since 14th Nov for Arvind and shipping company. I wrote to SBI & they told me to contact registrar of the company. Registrar is not responding. It is almost one month, SBI is unable to remove hold on unallocated application.

U don't need to go personally. Some relative /friend living /working near the branch

​@Ankur Goel I faced the same problem with Central Bank. Despite my repeated mails, my ASBA amount remained blocked for 15 days in excess of due date of unblocking.
Finally, I approached Registrar of IPO with copies to Central Bank and same day, amount was unblocked.
You may reply on mail received from Registrar which contains all the details.

I have been applying to IPOs in the retail category and now I wish to change it by applying in the HNI category.

Can someone please explain exactly how our bid(s) need to be placed if we are not allowed to bid at the cutoff price?
For instance: For IREDA, will our bids be @31 for say, 20 lots? ( Just an example to understand how this works)

Sorry if this question sounds lame but since I don't have much idea about this category, I figured asking it here would be the best choice.

Thank you @Ssshah I'm happy that subscription matched, it was pretty difficult job for us to predict because of 5 parallel IPOs and IREDA was one down batsman 🔥🔥🔥

I had predicted TATA almost double than everyone else but people didn't agree on that. However, it is going way above from my prediction considering many reason listed at https://www.chittorgarh.com/ipo/ipo_discussions.asp?a=1418&c=684663&ap=0

I'm sure listing will decide who really came in opening and one/second down batsman as far as GMP v/s listing gain % is concerned.

Some more early predictions:
- TATA may list nearer to double (may not be be exact double) OR price may touch near to double in listing/next 2-3 days if lists at 70-80%. If TATA lists at 50-60% or lower than GMP then simply buy in pre-opening (take some risk if not allotted only in this case).
- IREDA/Gandhar/Flair won't be opened according to GMP. Price will vary according to pre-market game by operators.
- Fedbank may have surprise if operator tries to play T10 game (like upcoming Abu Dhabi match).
