Those invested on listing day also got good gain. my profit today is 1.5L

with in 5 min there was a dip, i bought the shares in that dip.
Not sure, Tata tech could have touched upper circuit tomorrow in my view

Holding alloted one lot for long term. In 2021 and 2022 i used to sell most of alloted ipo shares on listing day or within few weeks of listing day. But in 2023 i have changed my strategy. Now i hold alloted shares for long term. Still holding Senco, EMS, NETWEB, Vishnu, Cello, Concord, JSW and now Ireda. I still regret selling Venus, Hariom pipes, Patanjali and Kaynes. I sold Kaynes around 1300 and 1400 level. Had no idea that this will go above 2500 within few months.

@Pinak i think its risky to make fresh entry right now. Tata group companies are not like Adani group companies with unreasonable valuation. So i think its better to wait and watch. There will be some corrections in future. Buy on dips in liitle quantity. This is a portfolio stock so it will reward handsomely with every postitve quarterly results.

@Smile...true one multibagger IPO alone can cover your losses of ten IPOs easily. As you rightly said average is always positive. My simple strategy is to put stop loss at ipo issue price so that if any script go down, i may loose profit but I won't loose my capital. And with opening of new demat accounts, it will be very tough to get allotment in future ipos. So hold whatever you are getting right now.

1/15 BHNI. Also 1/4 BHNI I bought from Grey mkt @ 13500 per application. At first it was looking like just break-even on Grey sauda, butit turned out good in the money. 🙏🙏 jai mata di!

​@Manan Surana @aryan sa  - apologies for late reply. I am based out of Ahmedabad and the 2 brokers I deal with are India Advantage Securities and Ratnaakar Trading.
Pls note that all Grey mkt sauda are settled on first print of the opening day and in cash only. Also, the rates are highly volatile.

holding it for long term
wanted to add more around 40 - 42 , but no chance
now will hold 460 only for long term.

We applied here aiming 30-35% listing gain. We were happy assuming listing near 40. On listing itself given much more than our expectations. Second factor we are listening good news about company so I feel no harm in holding for long term keeping trailing Stop loss.

For the First time I have got allotment in a IPO which has given almost 90% return on day 1. I have got Some allotments before which listed at par or listed with 5%.

Don't worry Guys keep on applying, make sure you won't get rejected technically. Some day you will hit the target.

It deserves UC atleast untill 100..very good company for long term..will become a multibagger

Sold principal at 60. That means a whopping 87% profit on listing day. My personal best and very close to MTAR's. Didn't consider waiting till tomorrow as bigwigs are listing and this could get lost in that chaos. I may be wrong but I'm happy. Keep crowing; wishes from Thailand!
