1. As per RHP of IRCTC, there is no mention about proprietorship accounts, even though partnership is available under who can apply. Hence, proprietors cannot apply
2. As regards joint accounts, the RHP does not say anything. SEBI guidelines also do not cover such joint accounts. Banks should categorise such applications as OWN account and inform RTA as NOT third party accounts. Hence, it depends on Bank's understanding and interpretation. Till such time a specific guideline is given, my opinion is that Bank can classify joint accounts as own account i.e. first holder in the ASBA form is the second holder in bank account should be treated as own account.

is asba is allowed for 5 demats from 1 bank.

I have two different name bank accounts, but mobile number of both account is same. Is there any problem for Online Asba applying ??? Pl. give your valueable knowledge.

No problem if same mobile number in account, if apply through net banking

If they are different persons with different PAN numbers, there is no check on mobile number. Both will be processed.

please apply through UPID and not THROUGH Net Banking.
Your forms will go but you will not get allotment. I have conform

For those who are worried about Net banking and online ASBA ????

I was expecting this first from zerodha only as they are always ahead in terms of features than other brokers (except 3in1 account brokers).
