Villagers
And many more
Many parts in India there are weak internet access
Less knowledge of modern day payment system
So
When we talk about UPI

The regulators want to cut out the physical / manual intervention completely and make the process paperless," says Head of Research HDFC Securities, Deepak Jasani.

This move is to push all payments for IPOs through digital means, says CEO of 5Paisa.com, Prakarsh Gagdani. He adds, "If you were investing in an IPO with your bank, through internet banking, that still continues. Also, if your bank allows you to apply for an IPO through its website, you can continue to bid for shares through your bank account."

till now upi bhim mandate not came. seems almost 90% applications will be rejected. whoever do good documentation with proper applicate will get 100% allotment. asba completed without any problem but bhim not getting success. whoever try from bhim will get rejected definitely.

Dear Mr CP Shah,
If you still hold your Indian Resident demat and trading account, feel free to apply using online ASBA.

UPI IPO application doesn't work for Minor, HUF, NRI ect. accounts yet.

If ASBA online remain, that would solve the problem.

Could you please confirm if retail Investors can apply thru ASBA or not. If we cant apply thru ASBA, why Banks are showing that ASBA option? And regarding ur note about UPI, you mentioned some SCSBs. can you please clarify on that asap so that it would be helpful to all of us. Just clarify if we can apply for this IPO thru ASBA or not.

Physical ASBA forms will continue till this IPO and vishwaraj sugar.There are long Qs in the banks to submit ASBA forms.I think there is misunderstanding regarding phase 2 article.You can apply through ASBA without any doubt.All the best for allotment.

Dear Mr. Pawan,

Sorry for the confusion. As per a few expert members of the forum, the online ASBA is valid. Indeed most banks are still offering it.

The rulings by SEBI and clause in the RHP doesn't support it. We didn't get any clarifications from SEBI or exchanges about this question.

We believe that as long as banks are allowing ASBA, investors should be fine.
