Anybody have an idea that why irb listed, traded & closed lower than expectation of investor or market ?

After today''s listing of IRB Invit , should 1 apply in indiagrid

It''s now risky because it will not be subscripted like irb and retail investor can''t take a risk of much amount after today''s listing of irb.

No offence to anyone but can someone please help me understand InvIT GMP logic? Why would there be an 8% premium for a Fund returning ~10% annual?

Dividend income is tax free. Interest income is Taxable. No dividend distribution tax on these trusts on dividend paid by these trusts.

Thanks Nand. That only explains the 2% tax saving and 2Rs premium which is what its trading at. Including time value of money, what would drive the rest 6%?

But buy at 102.5 for short term
And also cancelled the plan to invest in new invit issue as I divert my fund for buying from market in irb invit fund

mr, ipo bhavnagar, i know this is risk market but not cheating market tumare jaise log gmp aur kostak bakwas post dalke jo public ko gumrah kar rahe ho usse dikat hai stock market se nahi agar apply jo karata hai use risk malum hi hota hai mere bhai lekin tumare jaise log har ipo me gmp aur kostak ke galat message dal rahe ho usse dikat hai schand me tune kostak aur gmp dala tha

Mr. Karan,

1. Whom do you trust here on this board ? What did they advised ? What was the GMP posted by him/her ? As per your source, what was GMP ?

2. If I give you a quote, both side, either buy or sell, to trade on GMP, would you believe ?

3. If you have suffered loss, its due to market. Not due to me. I didnt advised you particularly to apply. Aise gyan pelna jaruri hai kya ?

4. On this board, who advised not to apply IRB ? Whose GMP was different then mine ?

If you have money,
Then hold till next week,
If you arrange money from somewhere else- funding or loan a/c
Then sell on cmp..
tomorrow is more negetive market..
Hudco ipo also effect from negetive market

I still feel that those who applied for listing gains, must not panic as my study does show that a person should be able to make 7-8% tax free return ( which is not bad and a segment will emerge for buying such paper).
Hence buyers should exist in due course ( and for FPI, these returns are very good)
It is not that it can fall to 90 rupees.
Ofcourse, same way upside is also limited to 110.
My suggestion is to wait until you can atleast get out at par after expenses.

I can verify that the GMP prevailing for IRB was correct.
some of my freinds did seel in grey mkt.
However, pls note that despite grey market being there for a particular ipo, there is no guarantee for descent listing.
Lots of factors play a role, including operator rigging up rpices in gmp to create momentum for subscription.

It depends on person to person. If you want to ignore, it is your wish. I think this board is created for sharing of views and expert advice. If some persons knows better, than there is no harm to accept there advice. suno sabki, karo manki. Nobody is forcing you to apply in any IPO, so there is no need to blame anybody.

Mr. Karan, what was recommendation of EAGLEEYE and SEPTA for this IPO ? What was the last GMP posted by EAGLEYE here ?

Its the problem of Market OR Operators. You are into Stock Market.. Not doing FDs.. Its a risky market. Decisions are always yours or any investors.

From the low of 99.75 it has recovered to 103

irb is not list in nse till now?
