SME IPO minimum lot size should be 5000 Rupees and minimum tradable quantity 1. Don't know what is stopping SEBI, NSE, and BSE to do this?

​@Keshav Narang Officially, third party application is not allowed. In ASBA mode it has been completely stopped. In UPI mode, somehow, it is working for some apps and banks, do not know which ones.. But, it is just matter of time before those will be stopped too..

What do you mean by third party actually?
Ipo applied by different person bank details for different person demat?
Or third party application like paytm upi are not consider anymore?

​@Ashish KS There are various categories, individuals can apply namely Retail, sHNI and bHNI. Also, HNIs are referred as NIIs (Non Institutional Investors). There is min and max lots defined for sHNI (or sNIIs), similar to that for retail. Check following table of this very IPO. In oversubscribed issues, one should ideally bid for minimum lots as allotment is through lottery and it makes no sense to block more funds.

In SME IPOs, categories and allotment rules are different. Onlt two segments - Retail and HNIs and allotment is on proportionate basis besides lottery, hence more the lots, better chances of allotment there.

Actually i wanted to know what is the benefits to apply in sNII(Max) category over sNII(Min) category?
Will the lucky allotte get more lots in sNII(Max) category which is more than 14 Lots which is the standard for sNII(Min) category?
Or the chance of allotment is more only in sNII(Max) category? But number of lots be the same that is 14 lots for mainboard IPO?

Also, is the same logic applicable for SME IPO allotment LOTS too?

For Bajaj Housing, the parent company is Bajaj finance or Bajaj finserve? to get shareholder quota, which shares to buy?

Any of the two are fine. For cost effectiveness go for Bajaj Finserve
