​@abc xyz As a youth myself as well as being relatively new to the stock market, I can relate to the steep learning curve which I have experienced —IPO's, Buybacks, OFS etc were an entirely new concept for me as well. It's interesting to observe the current trend in India where the youth are increasingly drawn to the business sector, stock market, etc. This shift is definitely bringing the youth in stock market and in other instruments of investment.

But I will have to say that despite gaining some knowledge about IPO's and other instruments and staying informed, I realize there’s still so much more to learn and achieve in this space.

On another note, I wasn't able to participate in an OFS because my broker doesn't support this feature, and I’m hesitant to switch to other brokers due to their annual fees or lack of reputation that makes me uncomfortable to trust them.
P.S. I started my investment journey from a very young age between 15 ~ 18yrs of age (Now my age is diff). Actually 12 if I look at non-stock related investment. My father allowed me to use his credentials for the investment journey and later on I opened my own account for my daily investments. Further I always used my own money to invest as I didn't feel it fair to use my parents money to invest in such high risk products and I should also have some skin in the game to feel the heat in the end of the day. Atleast by the grace of god, I didn't made any loss yet 😅

And CG forum has been very insightful for me and helped me learned a lot.

My broker also doesn't allow online application for OFS. Can someone suggest a broker which gives online application option for applying in OFS till 3PM?

I got the answer for my earlier query. Here it is for other's information.

-In Zerodha, you can apply for OFS till 3:30 PM.
-In IIFL, you can apply for OFS till 3:30 PM.
-5paisa has a section for OFS, but it only allows for the retail category. (only available on Web login)
-In Angel, POA is required for buyback applications, but they don't offer an online facility for OFS order placement.
-Upstox has a section for OFS, but it is not displaying HNI OFS.
-Paytm and Groww do not allow OFS application

Today OFS issue of HZL opened at 09:15 for retail investors and will close at 15:30.

Price to bid for assured allotment in OFS is the price at which retail quota is expected to be fully subscribed; This is highly dynamic ;you will get an idea only five minutes before issue closure which normally is 15:30. You need to be extremely alert and agile and submit your final bid before 15:30.

​@German The allotment will now not be on Rs 487 since its already oversubscribed (including the Green Shoe option) for retail. So, placing a bid higher is advised.

Yes 495 should get you allotted assuming final cut off can be between 488 - 489 @GreaterGood

My final bid price was 487.65, where as minimum allotment price is 487.4.
Full allotment.Satisfied with the bidding process. CMP:495. Small gain per share but when bid lot is high, gain is substantial and comparable with IPO.

How you decided to bid for 488 when indicative price was 495, i never applied in ofs and wants to apply in retail thats why asking, you saved 7rs per share, plz reply, Thanks.

I applied at 486.35/486.55 expecting green shoe (and overestimated the subscription after placing my bids).
But as per the messages circulating on X, 487 seems like the cut off.
Any official confirmation on the cutt off price ?

Well, the co. did confirm that the total HNI bids is now the base offer, and from this 10% is reserved for retail. So approx
5.72 cr shares get allotted to HNI which matched with combined bid data from both exchanges brings cut off near to 487.

Even some applicants out of 487 seem to be missing out. @GrayIsTheNewBlack

​@Niirav Yes you can sell. Brokers like Zerodha have no issue but some brokers might not allow until the shares are actually credited to demat, so its possible something like that might happen.

​@MuStrFc Thanks sir 4 prompt replay..next time i m also bidding in hni catagory..because of my broker also told me today if exchange gave u share...than u sold your alloted share...so next time i prepared for this situation.

No sir. This is indiacative price means median of total bids. now if all the bids below 494 is removed then total issue is not subscribed. total bids of 3 crore shares against 6.36 crores is received over 494 so price would come down some where around 491

Agree with you @J Rakesh For that very reason, indicative price doesn't really help much. Rather the price point which matches with 1x subscription is more beneficial which was around 490.5, but since the extra cushion of green shoe was exercised, some more people until 487 were allotted.

Will look at how it behaves on Monday, there should be likely selling pressure. Looking to atleast hold until the outcome of board meeting. @JIgar A

I havent participated in any OFS , just for understanding, as per above discussion cutoff is determined as X value (here around 487) , now person A applied for 490 and person B applies for 495 and C applies for 520 , now at what price each will get allotment ????
