Skipping this IPO as the GMP is falling continuously and market sentiment isn’t looking great…

It is last trading day of the calendar year, when it is going to list. It is pure gamble. I am applying with FF here in retail category, factoring the luck that I will get at least 2 to 3 lots.

I am not asking you to apply, but you can consider few things and take wise decision. Falling GMP can turn and become positive too in next two days.

Now, QIBs have also started jumping into it. Shall we go ahead FF

Currently I am in kinda FOMO .. haven't received any allotment in decembar.. but right now i am confused to apply or not .. suraj and muthooth both avoided

All retailers are just applying all the IPOs without getting proper information

Disappointing listing of Inox and discount listing of Muthoot & Suraj should be taken as lesson and do not throw away your money on every IPO.
Inox is a good company and it may be accumulated on every 5-10% dip if you can hold with patience for few quarters.
Only two types of IPOs should be subscribed
1. Fundamentally sound companies with stronghold position in the sector and you good self research & conviction where shouldn't even care where it will list. For me that company was Medanta & Concord which i am still holding.
2. Clear high GMP like 40-100% with strong QIB numbers.

Don't try to find dark horses in Bull market IPOs though there are exceptions but those companies are generally found in downward cycle of the market. If you are risk taker or dark horse hunter then there is secondary and derivative market.

Everyone has right to take best decision for their money and i am just sharing my approach and outlook to IPO market.

Some shakeouts are expected when things become euphoria. Every script need to be reviewed independently. However, I'm inline with your 2 approaches with a slight addition that I follow breakout as entry point & hold till the momentum is there and breakdown as sl. Avg down is out of my syllabus.

Indusin Bank ne to preshan hi kar diya hai amt unblock hi nahi hota but axis & yes bank icici they unblock before 11 am.

No, you cannot, as of now, apply with credit card..

Thanks @Ravi Makkar @Vimal Garodia for your valuable response. But on this Message Board I have heard somewhere that the member is saying that he is applying through SBI Rupay Credit Card. May be that card have the feature of that?

Increase in India VIX clearly says that Indian Markets have higher risk weightage for short term
India VIX has many dimensions to be understood
Some time limits so not going in depth

But one more real reason is :
The FII Outflow or Stoppage of Inflow from FIIs due to Christmas 🎄
And historically India VIX always remain volatile between 20 Dec to 2-3 January

What you can do is , Stay Invested , Keep your positions light , Don't buy anything for this week ,

Discount listing is not yet on the cards, definitely the GMP has gone down but not negative. As it would be last trading session of the current calendar year when it lists, we are just gambling here for more profits.

What is the difference between PE & PE (post) ?

Pre PE does not take in account fresh issue of shares. However post PE takes into account fresh issue of shares also which leads to lesser EPS and a little higher PE

Considering the GMP and valuations, doesn't look like it will list in discount but listing is on 29th, that might affect the listing price. shayad 5-7% se zyada naa de listing pay.
