hello everyone ,my query regarding INCOME TAX

if someone apply any sme ipo

nd got allotment

suppose he have profit of around 4 lakh...

nd sell that sme ipo within 1 year

nd he dont any other income at all...

then he have to pay tax?

or his income is exempted as per new income tax regime up to 5 lakhs???

if yes then how much tax he has to pay?

it went from my demat account
but its still shows in my portfolio and it says holdings include short selling

So much inconsistencies in retail quota.

Go for Wipro. don't go for welspun it is already at high price & not worth the risk.

I have a Query on Monir Account for applying in IPO. Based on recommendation in this forum I had opened a minor account for my daughter in HDFC bank and Demat account with prostock. However every time I try to apply for any IPO through netbanking, I get error "order status not available. Kindly refresh order book". HDFC Bank staff is nit able to understand or resolve this issue. Can anyone share any suggestion please ? Is there any other bank which allows to apply for IPO with Demat account in Prostocks. Thanks

another option to apply for IPO is via Manual Form.....
till the issue gets resolved try manual form...

I have opened minor account with hdfc but when I go to apply for asba for minor account also pan is showing is mine, how can I change it?

I received 2 mandates. I accepted first and money got blocked, received application number from BSE. Hence, rejected the 2nd mandate. Money is blocked still. Just wish to know whether my application went through and will be considered for allocation or will it be rejected? Please reply

Always apply through ASBA.
Don't use UPI at all it is always risky.

Simple go and check in your app zerodha or any other. Whether status is mandate accepted.
If yes don't worry. If not your application is not paid.

I have observed following issues in their business and financial statement:
1. Page no. 114 of RHP - Competition - They have mentioned that "Our Strength are our experience and our track records that the company has successfully executed several large projects for Coal Trading in the last two years and achieved the goodwill and confidence of the clients." It seems their high sales is result of coal trading activities instead of event management and marketing activities which is evident through their very low net margins.
2. If you review their fixed assets it seems company is providing all these services and having more than 200 crore turnover without any considerable use of IT and other computer equipment which corroborate that company is a pure trading company instead of a solution provider.
3. Only positive point which i saw is their IPO price is not very aggressive and valued at a reasonable P/E multiple.
