Wipro buy back at 445 and current price is 405...so it is 10% difference only.
Also what ratio will be buy back....full shares will not go for buy back.....so return is not 15% or 20 %....please give factual numbers and do not miss guide.

@PLAZA I am not going to say that don't misguide. But I have seen many times that such buy back is fruitful to those who are already holding the shares from sometimes at least. Last I remember, TCS I bought at 3800. Just see the price thereafter. Sometimes it can be fruitful but not always. Acceptance ratio was also not good at all . Difficult to say about Wipro. One more good example is CARE RATING. Now very good price after buy back.

@pkraj yes sir you are absolute right .I m also having 38 shares of tcs in all accounts after acceptance and purchased appsx 3700 but this is share market . One has to take calculative risk for graining something . But you pointed right that one has to be careful in nutshell and don't directly accept suggestion ....

yes sir you are right at your point by interpreting the rate , My view was xlrr basis rate which I skipped to mention here , As we people are not greedy and if 15 to 25 % return on the basis of fund involved is more then sufficient for us.

He has expressed his views. *ACHCHHA LAGE TO APNAO, BURA LAGE TO JANE DO*.
Specially when we purchase any good share for buyback, there are many benefits in long run also.
In past in many buyback, all shares tendered by of NHPC was accepted beyond the entitlement.

Selling Shareholder Blume Ventures Fund I share capital percentage (10.52%) has not been added.

last 6 month results are not very convincing.
though the profit has increased YOY but revenue has decreased YOY.
but still the share is at attractive price of 120-130.
P/E is around 10.
if u believe they will do good in future then u should hold for long term.

Drone - some profit booking and it will go up soon, in my opinion. its good price to average down (down side risk minimum). next results will be great as they have lot of plans (refer investor presentation), I am holding for long term (my price is 156 for 1.67 L shares.)
