I have a question, if the amount is not debited till now, does that mean I haven't been allotted any shares? Or is there still time left for processing applications? any inputs will be greatly appreciated.
make sure that ICS will list above rs.200 and can go up to 240 to 270 irrespective of market condition as it is trading at 8PE with 600karor sale and take mahindra and other trade at 15 to 21PE with 1000karor sale
BTW do you have any reason for bidding at 165 instead of going for cutoff? Please let us also know if any strong reason is there. Do we have any diff b/w cutoff and bidding at upper price?
Dear Shreedhar, please note that cutoff application means "CUT OFF" and not Rs 165 price bid. As you have stated that cutoff application over subscription is 9.84 does not mean that bid received at Rs 165(cutoff for infinite) is only 9.84 times oversubscribed.
Person like me put price bid at Rs 165 instead of going for cutoff bid in retail.
You can infer from above that oversubscription could be >9.84 @ Rs 165 ( Cutoff ).
Although there will be technical rejection & stop payment of check due to high oversubscription in retail, final oversubscription after technical rejection tend to go bellow 9.84.
For the application of 10 lots (400) shares firm allotment of 40 shares will be alloted. For others it will depend how much over subcription is received in that perticuler lot. Suppose for a case of 320 (8 lots of 40 shares)shares, if cut off application received in this catagury was oversubcribed by more then 9.864 lots, there will be lottery and if oversubcription is less then 9.864 lots there will be firm allotment. However, allorment will be minimum for 40 shares and thenafter in proportion of oversubcription.
164.Ipo watcher,Your calculation is correct.I think we will be seeing bumper listing of infinite computer solutions failing which there may be heavy selling due to selling pressure by HNIs.HNI over subscription cuts both ways as we have seen in Issues like Reliance power,NHPC etc.So one needs to be careful with this issue.
Assuming a lock in period of 20 days for the borrowed amount by HNIs FROM BANKS, the likely interest will be 0.6 %. For getting 40 sahres, they have to apply for 106*40 and borrow 106*40*165 = Rs. 699600. The accrued interest works out to be RS 4197. The break even is 4197/40= 105. The likely listing price is 165 +105 = 270. This may change if lock in period is lesser.
Thnak you Sridhar Reddy. In the previous bull run, all the IPOs were getting price discovery on the listing day at or above the HNI subscription level break-even price. Kindly let us know how you are doing this calculation. This is likely to be the most probable listing price for this IPO too.
