citi group has sold more than 2 crore shares on the very first day(nse+bse). if they had to make such a big loss why did they applied in such a big quantity in the first place? can someone enlighten on this.

Guys,
Just want to tell you that even Infosys skipped below it's issue price when it's IPO came decades back. That time IT was new thing and had great scope. Currently solar power is also a new thing (not used much) and has great scope in future because of go green concept. The share will definately hit in future. I applied in IPO but regreat that I should not have but purchased after listing. But you got this in IPO or purchased after listing is past. Future (long term) is great for this company.

Even VA Tech & Career Point are dangerous script. Value investors have not business in applying for those IPOs.

In case people make money in bull market, no complaints. If they loose they need to blame themselves for their decisions.

People make or break because of their own decision & nothing else.

People blame Sj because he keeps praising himself regarding the hits and does not take any blame for misses. You will constantly see him highlighting some of his stocks which met gave return and taking credit for making others rich. So, if so called people who made money by his advise praise him but then also loose money due to his advise, they have their right to blame him.

I know there will be very few people acting purely on his advise coz. most people go through analysis of various brokerage houses.
But this self-proclaimed abusive analyst Sj keeps praising himself as though he were the LAST ANALYST LEFT in this world.

Any sensible person would know that his analysis (if we call it so !!) is too simplistic and amateurish, compared to comprehensive analysis of various good brokerage firms. Infact, his analysis is borrowed from others and can be called a 'Khichiri' analysis.

Don't trust this sub-broker/ operator blindly as he has vested interests. People who do suffer !!

Tumhare almost sab posts maine padhe hai on IndoSolar, Eros, Ramky, Va Tech Wabag, Electrosteel, Cantabil and Tec Pro.
I can tell you this also that you will have to hear alot in case of Electrosteel and Ramky too if on listing day it goes below issue price.
Tumne to bataya tha ki Electrosteel me listing gain ke liye mat dalo paisa... Look for long term investment... lekin koi woh dekhega nahi.
Mujhe bahut ajib lagta hai... why don't they go and check older posts too...
There are many anonymous boarders who visit this site at the last moment and keeps on asking questions which were answered so many times in the older posts. They don't even bother to read all the older posts but want to get served on immediate basis.
So Setuji aap itna dhyaan mat do aise logon per. Just ignore them.

this is very good exmpl & early warning of the time to come.Ipo is pure speculation. You all will esrn in one or two issue, but the crooks(lead mngr), will take away your gain along with capital. Please don't fall into trap stay away. These all are for Coal India to get subrscribed. Then all which are in green will go in red forever.
