EXTREMELY HIGH VALUATION FOR A COMPANY WHICH HAS YET TO PROVE ITSELF. AS PER FORM HARDLY ONE YEAR OF OPERATION THAT TOO WITH LOSS, SURELY AN AVOID.

IN BULLISH MARKET SCENARIO, ANY TOM, DICK OR HARRY CAN MAINTAIN IPO PRICE FOR A FEW DAYS, BUT ULTIMATELY THIS IS A VERY BAD COMPANY AND WILL SURELY BE DISCOUNT VERY SOON.

ITS BETTER TO APPLY IN CAREER POINT OR ANY OTHER GOOD IPOS IN THE COMING LOT OF ATLEAST 8 IPOS THIS MONTH.

THIS IS SURELY AN AVOID.

REGARDS

latest premium in jaipur

Eros:- share 43-44
Kostak:- 1800

Indosolar:- share 1.75-2 Rs
Kostak:- No buyer
Indo will go into discount..No buyer of application

Stay away..Euro multivision IPO came when NSE was 4600 at 75 Rs, same day it touched the low of 40 Rs..currently trading at some 45 Rs.

Stay away from this to preserve ur capital...
This can give u big losses(size of Euro was only 60-70 crores) Size of indo solar is 350 crores...

Last day for retail is same as that of for qib category?
If that is the case, it would be difficult for us to take a bet ...

I will take a decision on 15 regarding how many applications to go for in Indo solar.By that time we can get clarity about other Issues also so that we can allot the funds accordingly.Career point is my no. 1 choice at present.

Dear

IPO Expert

Just because solar based companies are not performing right now doesnt mean the sector is bad nd has no long term future.

Wait for the next 10 years alternative energy willl get advancd and get multifold increase in demand.

May be i agree on Indo solar

But stocks like Moser baer and Webel Sl are long term buys..

WHy have new PE fund like Blackstone entered a company like Moser Baer whoz price is lying dud since so many months ?

Obviously there is potential in solar.

You know never judge a sector potential or future by current price.

Now if you woudnt have invested in Bharti at 265 two months ago now you woudnt have enjoyed 350.

You should always buy a sector whoze chips are down in the short term and whuz future will not vanish instead ob buying sectors that are at top of their performance like consumer durables like Panasonic and hitachi are rite now.

I am just giving my views. Dont get agitated

Good argument is always healthy

Setu

I am 100% sure and can make an open challenge that this stock will defintely go below issue price and will go below 10 rs in long term.history will repeat what happened with eurovision multimedia

It come under same category as nhpc, sjvnl and moser baer, eurovision
all these stocks have underperformed market. these green power ipos are nothing but waste to hold both in short and long term.

Indosolar: Very good management and one of the best plant and quality supplier of the solar cells. However business model has inherent challanges as it is in between ingot/wafer supplier and solar panel maker. It does not take much time for wafer guy to expand such facilities, if margin in the business increases or sustains where they are for longer time. Cell guys does not have any say on R/M and finished product price. Do not know what happens in listing (may go up as everything is going up nowdays), but medium term decline is inevitable. 2 years down line may give good return, as third line will be fully operational and if this business margin sustains.

Setuji, i have recently read your previous and this post and after reading your views i come to this conclusion that this is a clear avoid as mentioned by you. I will buy moser baer instead which have down risk of not more than ten percent. I have made money in moser baer four years agoand also got bonus then but after that i left the stock. I think this sector will not catch market fancy in short term.

Dear MUKUL

Check my previous posts on solar sector in this blog. You are lazy in not reading previous posts.

Anyways this is my view. I will come to financial analysis and peer comparison later. First a brief logic.

I will rather buy Moser Baer which is agood brand name and Largest Indian Player in PV business and has book value of 96 and quoted at 65.

It has entered german and australian markets as well

Big private equity investors have entered in this company like Blackstone Group.

Book value of Indo Solar is 8 and issue price is 28

Moer Baer is 65 price and book value is 96 it is available below bok value and indo is quoting 4 times book for IPO

If i want to play solar business i wil buy Moser baer or webel sl energy.

I have bought 5000 shares of moser baer in my portfolio recently at 65

I will hold for 10 o 20 years. This is a long term bet on alternative bet

I am more confident on solar than wind

If indo solar turns into profits dont you think sector leader Moser baer will not...?

You can apply in whatever you want. You may get listing gains.

I will rather stick to moser bear coz backed by Big pe investors like Blackstone and available below book value.

Agreed that it is not cost efficient now but as technology research advances it will as it has already started improving worldwide.

Even Reliance is planning entry in solar business shortly.

Regards

Setu

THIS IS A CLEAR AVOID TO ME COZ I WILL INVEST IN SOLAR SECTOR THROUGH MOSER BAER FOR LONG TERM

There are far better ipos like Watech Wabag to apply for me.
__________

These are my personal views. Me and my clients have exposure in Moser Baer for long term. Please do your own due diligence and analysis. I am not liable if someone misses oppurtunities due to my analysis.

Hi Friends,

Please suggest whether I have to apply in this share.Because I didnt get allotment in GPPL. I thought I could try in this and make listing gains. Please advice friends.
65. sreedhar |   Link |  Bookmark | September 9, 2010 8:28:56 PM
Dear GEM & Natarajan,
What have you done with GPPL today.I sold at 56.25 Immediately once I saw it did not list above 58 becos As said earlier failure to cross HNI breakeven will result in selling pressure.I have bought back my shares at 54 at closing since I felt the share withstood the selling pressure well.Dear Natarajan are you still holding EIL looks like it has reached 365 today. At this rate my 400 target looks achievable sooner than later.
GEM,I am applying for Indosolar as I am very confident the company will breakeven this year & post good profits from next fiscal onwards.Looks like no one is applying for Indosolar which will give me a chance to earn super profits as in HMVL.
