I am silent admirer of your advices. As the five IPO is opening within 7-10 days, everyone is confused including me. I sell application only on KOSTAK rates and presently my broker is giving Rs. 1700/- for Indosolar and Eros international. With my past experience I can say that I will earn more with more oversubsription as the brokerage will be minimum. So, Should I catch the indosolar ride and miss the possibility of microserve etc. Please give your valuable opinion.
setuji, what happened to sreedhar i don't know.He is the person who always applied and recommends fundamental strong companies suddenly takes a U Turn and applying indo solar and tirupati. In indo solar retail got more allotment and chances of loss is higher and tirupati i think One lac application will not get confirm allotment and it will go in lottery like ARSS.Both issue are not worthy. But if some one have excess fund like sreedhar he can consider both issue for long term.Anyway it is his decision and he has taken decision after considering ups and down.
setuji, you are the one of the most respected members of this board that is why some persons want to target you just or fun.But in true sense they are also reading your comments regularly and getting benefit from it.One of my friend is also your big fan but also try to irritate you by posting fake comments.he is applying on your recommendation and after getting profit he starts posting comments that he is not following your advice.
setuji i am not a type of person who will blame any one for th e loss.Because loss and profit are predecided by the god.A person can only walk on the steps created by god.
Setuji, which i have thought you have just made my strategy according to that you are also a brain reader also.Thankyou genius once a again.very cooperative person i have not seen the person like you in my entire life.
8 LAKHS is not only boss it has 5 zeros attached to it. lol
Anyways
First of all before price band for various IPOs that are coming are not announced proper analysis of valuations is not possible
However if you intend to invest 8 lakhs in IPOs only.
Then you can allocate as i am allocating
50% in Va Tech Wabag
Logic:
1)58 EPS is FY 10 FY11 EXPECTED EPS 70+ If price band as rumored is 1250-1400 it will be 25 PE. Industry PE is 30+ on average it will be a good bargain. 2)It will enjoy scarcity premium coz it is largest pure play in water desalination. Only other pure play is Ion Exchange. 3)Since price band is so high retail will not apply more than 2-3 times. You will get majority shares. See what happened in case of SKS. It was priced at 950 and retail subscribed only 2 times. 4)it is MNC company in futuristic business. SO it will not go zero
25% in Eros
Logic:
1) Again MNC Company. 2) Only comparative bet is UTV. 3) Media industry revived now after slowdown in 2009 due to recession and now add rates are going up 4) it has tied up with wilbur ross with star tv and with big production houses in India. Recently DABANG is running with full houses 5) It has entered into futuristic media sources like online videocasts, home entertainment, etc. 6) In 2009 and 2010 first half bollywood suffered because there was strike and few big releases. Now it has revived.
If it is available at 10% discount to UTV please apply
25% in Careerpoint
Logic:
1) Good business model. Coaching classes is hottest sector in education field currently and big brands are entering this space 2) it has good capex plans and expansions in different avenues 3) its brand name is well known and is very much visible all over India. SO it has past goodwill.
Careerpoint is bit risky coz it can be high risk high gain
Eros and Va tech are safer bets. But Careerpoint can give maximum gain out of the three if applied and risk is taken.
Since you are looking for listing gains Mukul please do not buy in Grey market
Kindly fill applications only.
So my strategy
Va Tech Wabag 50%
Eros 25%
Careerpoint 25%
Rest you can apply They can give you listing gains coz this is bull market
But above three are safe bets backed by good long term stories in which listing gains chance is more than risky IPOs like Microsec Tirupati and Indo Solar
Regards and Best of Luck

Disclaimer: Mukul this is the allocation even i have planned for my clients. I have just applied for va tech personally as you know i apply for long term. So if you suffer losses i will also suffer because i am planning same myself for me and my clients.
setuji, i am holding only 8 lacs in cash in 5 accounts and i want to diversify my funds in upcoming ipos.i will get money approximately 10 lacs in october but at this point of time i have only 8 lacs. Please help me in diversifying my funds in these ipos. I have got benefit from you in the past. Please help in making my strategy. I am not applying indosolar.
SJ Noone is saying to buy moser baer its only when they compare it with bad company indo solar they find it better in comarision. moser baer has not given excellent erturns since 3 years of anyone holding .
we need to see where we make profits and not look at who has invested in company. moser baer ,nhpc, reliance power all these stocks are underperformer and have not given returns.
rather buy stocks in banking sector
buy these stocks if you need advice and dont cry
1) central bank 2)UNITED bANK 3) cOX AND kINGS 4) Adani Power 5) Recltd 6) NTPC 7) tcs 8)IL&FS TRANSPORT
But these 8 stocks and you ill become rich. dont go for companies with 10 year outlook
jab main bol raha tha kw avoid indosolar and buy moser baer everybody questioned me....called me mad and said that it is not going up and is indiabulls power type company.......
Now when experts are saying to buy moser baer everybody will beleive him
i will not give any stock advice from now on
its better to keep my ideas to myself
instead of getting abused and insulted on this board.......
It is a start-up company & loss making. Promoters lack experience. It is expected to report losses for a few quarters more.
Land requirement is high. Cost of power is more compared to coal, hydel, nuclear. There is over-capacity in the solar industry and the demand will remain subdued till solar energy prices don't go up from high to higher.
The IPO may give listing gains (upto Rs.40) depending on the secondary market situation but I would like to AVOID this IPO.
