@ SJ.

Are you an Analyst or a Technologist? I agree that you are putting tremendous effort in providing the information of the retail investors. On the other hand, try to respect others who want to provide valuable information for the retail community (Like us).

Never write harsh words in a public forum as below (Your writings)

SJ – “AND I DID NOT DIRECT THAT DIMAG CHAT RAHEIN HAIN COMMENT TO YOU.......BUT FOR OTHERS WHO HAVE written STUPID THINGS....”

SJ – “HALF KNOPWLEDGE IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS”

Remember Market is always SUPERIOR to all of us. Do your math, research, analysis etc… do you think that you are always successful? Never…

I am an investor / trader for the past 10 yrs but still I believe that market is superior always.

Coming to the main topic “DON’T COMPARE MOSERBAER PV WITH INDO SOLAR”

Reasons:

Moser PV uses Thin Film technology for mass production of Solar panels. Crystalline silicon is still in R&D
Presently they are operating 65MW plant at Noida. Another proposed 65MW is on hold. Plan for 330MW in Chennai have been dropped. (FYI – Tamilnadu have allotted 350 acres of land near orakadam)

Do you think that it is a growing sign?

Sunfilm (Germany) had installed two Thin film lines (70 + 70 MW) but they went bankrupt ? (Not +ve for TF business)

TSolar and Signet solar who were in to TF Solar is not performing well

Best Solar, their initial plan was 1GW but they have reduced their capacity to 70MW, still it is not operative ???? do you know why? (FYI – They use TF technology)

KSK Energy Ventures has planned to set up Thin Film PV factory this year (capacity – 160MW). Now they have dropped the plan. Do you know why??

Have you heard of Applied Materials? (World No:1 company in Nanotechnology). They are the turnkey solution provider for PV Factory design doing end to end support. They entered in to Solar PV market in 2007 but they exited this year. Do you think that it is a positive sign for TF Solar??

All the above point shows a negative sign for Moser PV. This is because of Technology and Capital.

INDOSOLAR uses different technology (Crystalline silicon) for mass production. Their efficiency is high as 16.5%. Where as TF Solar is struggling to get 10% at lab.

I have given just an out line. I cannot share all confidential information in a public forum.
I am a Technologist not an Analyst.

SG

dear aziz

"@SJ your views in case seem totally biased in favor of moser bear,

Your assessment is too simplistic"

this is more offensive for boarders here coz i have given analysis and guided in previous posts and if they read this post of yours they will be misled coz you however are just copy pasting and have no facts to support yourself....!..or say why indo solar is better than moser

MY ANALYSIS IS NEVER SIMPLISTIC

AND I DID NOT DIRECT THAT DIMAG CHAT RAHEIN HAIN COMMENT TO YOU.......BUT FOR OTHERS WHO HAVE written STUPID THINGS....

clear your misconception

and get well soon...

@SJ your views in case seem totally biased in favor of moser bear, i can give you several such instances, were new IPO's have had peers which are quoting at very cheap valuationd vis a vis the co, but they are successful in raising the money and maintaining that premium even after listing.
Your assessment is too simplistic

@SJ , once you have decided not to invest and given your veiws can you not shut up, don't you have something better to do? now even the issue is closed.
I yes suggest you now go on a log term holiday along with your gujarat pipava shares.

Dear Boarders

Moser baer also is into crystalline silicon and concentarted cells

pv is chaper top install 60% althogh productivity is lower than silicon

hence it can be popular in india and abroad as it can be mass produced

HALF KNOPWLEDGE IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS

AND PAYING 2 TIMES BOOK FOR INDO IS BETTTER

OR PAYING 0.5 BOOK FOR MOSER IS BETTER ?

Moser BAER IS NOT ONLY DEALING IN PV THAT IS A MYTH

I HAVE FULLY RESEARCHED ALL PROS AND CONS

YOU CAN EVEN GO THEIR WEBSITE AND CHECK

Allotment will be done at Rs29
Applicants can expect decent listing gains of Rs 3 per share.
Listing gain type applicants to quit at 15 to 20% gains.
Otherwise will become tooooo long term to gain

all the best
good allotment pattern for everyone

Dear All,

Indo Solar is a good IPO. Many peoples are comparing with Moserbaer PV Company. Moser uses a technology called "Thin film (TF) solar - (Amorphous Silicon)" but Indo solar uses a technology called "Crystalline Silicon". There is a huge difference between these two technologies. Remember $/Watt for TF is high as 3.6$/Watt and requires huge capital and Land space. More over, Moser PV is using 5.7 m. sq glass for making solar panels, which is a big challenge to ship the modules. Crystalline Silicon is not that challenging for shipping the glass and cost per watt is less that a dollar. (.8 cents / Watt ~).

There are many reasons to quote to say that Indo Solar is the best company when compared with Moser. (In am quoting only few)

THOSE WHO HAVE APPLIED FOR INDOSOLAR BE CONFIDENT, YOU WILL GET A DECENT RETURNS. DON’T BELIEVE OTHERS WHO DON’T KNOW THE TECHNOLOGY.

PROFIT IS ENSURED – HAPPY INVESTING

DEAR FRNDS ! WHN THE ALLOMENT WILL BE DONE MKT WILL BE IN -VE BIAS SIDE SO WAKE UP & THINK ... LISTING WILL NOT BE SO PROFITABLE..SO DONT BE HAPPY! PLEASE SECURE URSELF IF U CAN SELL IT ON GREY MARKET OR IN EARLY OPENING SESSION...
246. Hello |   Link |  Bookmark | September 16, 2010 8:18:22 AM
I am sure it would bomb on listing day. Reasons-
1) Too many primary papers during that time.
2) Hunger of QIB is already satisfied with low subscription.
3) Almost every body would get shares and would sell on marginal profit or loss, either to apply in further IPO or in Panic.
4) Moser Baer is definiltly better than it. Primary is not always good.
Stop payment, because risk is high. Profit limited to max 5% of invested amount (10% of share value) & no downlimit (may be -20%??)
Best wishes & Best of luck for those who applied.

Congratulations to all who applied to this ipo.
Good to see this sail through.
This is a high tech eco friendly company deservers a small amount of support from investors with a long term horizon (not hit and run type traders). This is much better than going crazy over bajaj hair oil company!!!!
The other recent high tech issue (non software) fatpipe networks had failed (but due to promoter’s fault) who knows it could be the next CISCO?
