Demat is enough to apply for IPO.

But for selling it you Will need Trading account.

Yes it''s mandatory to have a demat account to apply in an IPO. IPO Allocated shares are transferred to investors demat account.

This time strange allotment. I made 6 allotment. Out of which 3 alloted only to gents member of my family and no allotment to Ladies.


Lagta hai ab gender wise allotment ho raha hai....lol

Best Case scenario:

Due to Anchor investor participation confusion many retail investors withdrew their application. So I feel, most of us(retail) who remained invested are long-term investors and remaining are who couldn''t withdrew because of various reasons. As we all know, NII was not subscribed fully. So hopefully, on the listing day, people who''ll be selling are less and FPIs(who couldn''t participate in IPO + other QIBs) would be waiting(again hopefully) to buy the shares from the secondary market. Let us try not to sell the shares allocated to us and let the demand increase.

Worst Case scenario:

I know everyone knows this. Let me not waste my time ;-)

It looks my luck only works on the ratio of subscription. High the subscription high the chances of allotment.
