Allotment in SHNI category will be difficult to get in as compared to BHNI and retail. Taking loan to apply in SHNI category is not desirable. Rest is upto you.

1) Money of UPI Application is deducted when basis of allotment is released and instructions are sent by registrar to the bank

2)Remove that joint bank account in your trading account since you are the 2nd holder.

For IPO, since you use UPI of bank account that has your wife's name and number as first holder and your trading account. This is a mismatch and deemed third party and application is liable to be rejected

@MuStrFc @newgen consultancy. Seniors please clarify me my mobile is linked to my family members multiple acs. Hence my phone pe is linked to the all accounts, my question is if I can apply though UPI phone pay by paying from respective bank acs and can be considered to be a correct application. Please clarify. Thank you

Yes, but, not all banks allow sweep in FD for IPO application without breaking FD..

You have to transfer fund to your SB account for applying IPO.
YOU CAN NOT CLOSE OD ACCOUNT ONLINE BUT YOU CAN TRANSFER FUND FROM YOU SB ACCOUNT TO OD ACCOUNT TO AVOID UNNECESSARY INTEREST.

For applying IPO transfer your funds from OD account to saving account. When you get refund, (if not allotted) you can again transfer fund from saving to OD account. BTW, you can close your SBI OD account online through website. Keep you OD balance clear before closing.

When I opened od, on the same day, without any withdrawal form od, I wanted to close od but didn't find any option on net banking website of SBI. Now I have transferred money from od to savings account for applying in IPO so I shall be able to return money to od account only after few days

How will I get rid of od? Will the od automatically close at the time of maturity of fd, if I am unable to close od before that?

​@investormahesh  If you open OD from netbanking( website) there is no way to close OD from netbanking you need to visit your home branch. If you open from OD from yono app , you can have the option to close OD from net banking . yes im right open OD from yono and close from netbanking.. this is what actually i experienced
three months back i opened OD from my cousins account from yono and i was able to close OD from Netbanking. But later when i opened from Net banking i could see no option and got to know one needs to close OD from home branch.
Its a simple procedure to close OD from netbanking you can watch some youtube video.. and this works only for the FD opened from YONO not from net banking.
Also you need to pay and clear OD amount completely before u attempt to close the OD.
** I read from your post that your home branch is far away- what you can do is clear the OD amount and keep it active no interest is charged.. if you dont use it . at the time of OD SBI would send a pdf file which has OD expiry date ( which should be closed before your FD matures). Please go through it and close the OD whenever you would go to your home branch..

I am applying third party applications. I have 4 accounts of family members and 5 friends. and will apply 5 application from each friend account (3rd party). T+3 was implemented by registrar. Agar 3rd party wala krna hota to ho hi jata abhi tak but last kafi allotments mille hai recent is Tata Tech. Apply kr k dekh lo if you have extra funds. I am having and i will apply.

Since 1st dec third party applications are invalid. Please do not take risk..

@Nikhil ji.. Jab bank official & Ragistrar ki jimmedaari tai hogee .. 3rd party application ke liye to koan lagne daiga 3 rd party.. issliye bhai bhool jao ab 3rd party..

If you have extra fund than try. I got allotment in IREDA and ASK Auto via third party applications.
