I think in bhni it is still on proportionate basis, that why many people apply in ipo in crores of money to get sure shot allotment ....

Small hni allotment is on lottery basis

@sloth ji, I believe it's not on a proportionate basis but rather a lottery system for this oversubscribed IPO category. However, I do agree with your perspective. I'm still puzzled as to why individuals are applying for more than 68 or 69 lots in this category, especially considering it's a lottery-based allocation.

May be @Paymzia ji can enlighten us in this matter!

For BHNI if you apply more lots, allotment chances remains same (might slightly differ due to no. of applications). You won't get additional preference by applying more lots

Few apply more lots as they think it's lucky number for them and few apply to just increase the subscription number to create hype

In BNII category some operators submit single application for shares worth Rs 1 crore or 5 crore or more because they want to inflate oversubscription. So that oversubscription looks very impressive

@iamvsk In case of over subscription, its lottery only, be it BHNI (They are many who apply above 10 lakh) or SHNI. Number of lots do not matter in case of over subscription. No case of sure shot subscription anywhere.

@iamvsk As here sHNI is subscribed about 30 times and some one applies 80-90 lots, then one will be in bHNI and he will not be in sHNI Category. sHNI Category is upto 67 lots in this issue. Rules will apply as of bHNI.
Allotment subject to LUCK only.
Once I did not get allotment even it was 17 allotment out of 20 applicants. PURE LUCK.

How is the allotment decided in the Small and Big HNI if the issue is oversubscribed. I mean to ask that if IPO is oversubscribed by 10X, so does applying in more than 1 lot helps in allotment criteria? Or does everybody is treated as equal and will get only 1 lot on allotment? Thanks in advance.

In retail section - If the IPO is oversubscribed then it doesn't matter how many lot you applied for. One PAN can apply only 1 application (worth max rs2L). And Allotment is done on basis of number of application not as per lots. Hope I answered you

Pls suggest if I am applying an IPO with different PAN but using the one bank account for payment , Whether the application will be considered or not.
I also have another account which is joint account in nature, pls suggest if i have to make the payment for that account for my spouse application instead of my bank account.

doesn't matter... Important is Bank account (joint or single) & Demat account should have same PAN... you can be first or second or third holder in Bank account - makes no difference...

No, there is no age limit to get a PAN card.

Normally photo, address proof and age proof documents are required. For minor along with above, similar documents of parents or guardian is required.

First make addhar card then pan card then bank account (Canara bank) then demat account pro stock. Follow this flow.

@Anurag kumar singhal "chance in bhni and shni in allocation' chances depends on Subscriptions.

Ideally allotment chances in bhni are better than Shni, but if allotted you get 2 lacs worth shares in both categories.

If bhni is not over subscribed then you might get more shares

Hello all the members i am new in this forum also beginner i have a query i applied in india shelter ipo through Google pay i accidentally typed wrong pin so my ipo got rejected again i reapply but mandate not come so the 3rd time mandate comes and i block the amount but in the night a message come that your mandate has expired and on the next day my money also unblocked this happened 1st time plz help if someone knows about it🙏🙏🙏
