No of retailers have increased after TATA TECH IPO..
Even 3 IPOs at the same time are getting heavily subscribed of more than 2 Lakh+ forms (Like Inox...shelter)... so allottment chance in retail is also becoming hard..🤣
I thing we have to open few more Demat accounts of relatives or friends..
@Just For IPO 🚀 ji, Agree, I think SEBI should consider adding a new category: "Poor Retailers." Retailers who haven't received any allotment in the last three heavily oversubscribed IPOs can apply under this category. And just for fun, they'll be selected first in the lottery—kidding, of course!
@Ankur Goel ji, I believe that's an excellent solution to offer more retailers an opportunity, especially because they're content with modest profits.

We can write to sebi as I remember sebi was also working to reduce lot size to increase allotment chance but not sure what had happened to that proposal.
That is what market need. There should be more retail participation. because of TATA tech and IREDA ipo there is good hype in primary market and that leads to increase in new retail participation. Slowly this retailers will actively take part in secondary market.
If your MF in demat form then they will take around 10.1% applox and if they r in non demat form then it will be 9.9% around also max 10L OD you can get in one bank account in case of OD against MF or equity.

@Beingstrong You need to transfer from OD to your saving account and than apply for IPO. You can't apply directly from OD account. Bank will charge interest for the days and amount you have transfer to your saving account. You should immediately transfer back to OD account from saving to minimize the interest charged.
@P Patel it is possible to apply from OD acc via upi. Only Bhni application is not possible due to upi limit. I have my OD acc with SCB and demat with Zerodha. I have a debit card of my OD acc, so i created upi. Now i can apply in retail category in mainline and sme ipos. i hav been alloted in few ipos.

Yes, allotment happens in minor account too but it depends on luck.
I am using prostocks and hdfc to apply minor account. Before stopping third party applications, I was using pnb, sbi, uco, bob to apply in minot accounts.
@ratna ratna I am using Kotak Bank demat acc for minor. After getting allotment, i transfer the shares from minors acc to my acc and then sell. Its easy
@Ankur Goel - but hdfc probably provide bank account in name of Child name ug guardian name .. Which is not same as Child name .. does not get this rejected .. Kindly advise
Hi @Ankur Goel Did you apply IPO through online like using ASBA from HDFC account or you filled up the form and submitted physical application in HDFC bank ?
Both account demet and saving in HDFC banj for Minor. But still didn't get any IPO. I don't know if allotment will get then can sell directly or not from minor account.
