I know this is not for long term bet but do you have any news on recovery.

Sensex fown 1000 points, all mid, small caps fell 6 % but this was still up 11% at close. Goes to show the strength. Target 680+ or even more now that the weaker hands are out.

Has anyone calculated p/b of Shelter finance?

Given the information in RHP.. if we use their formula = price / net asset value per equity share.

It is coming to be 3.4. which is similar to listed peers like Aavas, Aptus and home first...

Where is the scope of listing at high price?..

even if we consider projected net asset value for mar 2024.. i.e., 162 and assign maximum 4x p/b... It will come to 648 as the max price.

This will be stretch.

Either I am looking at it wrong or this may surprise on listing.

Hope everyone got a chance to exit.. There is nothing great about this business.. Afoordable housing are already showing sign of loan default.

This may not be the best time to be invested in this business currently. Look at real estate trenad.. even the builders who were into affordable housing are now making premium societies ..Ganga Reality, Signature Global etc.. Selling premium is easier than affordable.

I agree with @DSR, this sector is not appealing v/s great company. In and out is great approach!

India shelter finanace +ves.... Its a great stock to hold mid to long term as BJP is bent to provide affordable housing to all and its major beneficiery, great ROA, cagr, aum growth, low NPA of 1%. Prefect recipe for a long term growth story.

I agree with you as far as brokers review, financials and demands but IPO panic is different because 80-90% people would be relying on taking immediate profit.

More, HNI people comes on panic due to high number of shares. Post listing profit booking, panic plays a bigger role and takes time to stabilize the stock mostly when panickers sells the stock.

1/5 bHNI. Sold 170@583 and holding balance 250 shares. Dint get Doms and Inox and the fate of this alloted one is like this. Hope it doesn’t fall below 500.

I had put SL order at 601.4 ie 3% from listing price and it got executed within seconds.

Still earn some money happy with 26% gain not expected such kind of listing .....
