Hello everyone. I have been applying IPOs for past 1 to 2 years now. I am still confused with Bhni and Shni allotments. If IPO is oversubscribed in Both the categories and if I have applied more lots in Shni and if I get alloted (I am sure its Lottery when oversubscribed in mainboard IPOs) do I get what I have applied or the minimum Bhni Lots? and How does allotment work in SME IPOs?

​@IPO Believer Its simple if you know the allotment provisions, no need to get confused. In main board IPOs, if there is oversubscription - demand is more than the supply, allotment is done on lottery basis which generally is equal to minimum lot. You must be knowing that application upto Rs. 2 L falls under retail segment, beyond Rs. 2 L upto Rs. 10 L falls under sHNI and beyond Rs 10 L falls is bHNI. But there is rule for bHNI that in case of oversubscription, shares as per sHNI (worth about Rs. 2L) only are allotted. Strongly recommend you to study Basis of Allotment (BoA) document of some of previous issues to get clarity.

Guys, i recieve dividend from domestic companies like 1 to 100 per company any amount in between. in an year gets 20-30 entries of dividends but only a few reported / fetched automatically in AIS by Incometax,
What should i do to reflect all dividends in AIS / TDS reports automatically, doesnt matter company deducts TDS or not...
few companies reports to TDS/AIS even when they dont deduct TDS> hope you understand

​@VANSH PATEL Some brokers like Zerodha provide dividend report that can be downloaded to tally and report in ITR. And regarding AIS, as mentioned by other members too, it is only a guiding tool. Forget about dividends, many a times even equities related info is not captured properly in AIS. Take for example, for shares received through IPOs cost price was showing zero in some cases in AIS. It is in individual's interest to verify the data and report in ITR correctly.

It should be available after 15th July. So do not rush to file return now. Check after 15th July and then file..

​@Binni Any IPO in demand will mostly be getting oversubscribed and retail category applicants may get just one lot that too if you are lucky in lottery. Instead one may also try luck in sHNI or bHNI if going FF. Best Wishes 👍

I have just taken an overview of the RHP of the company Indegene and found that in page 65 of RHP company has stated its Financial statements. It has not mentioned any amount towards purchase of raw material. All the major expenses are mentioned as Employee benefit expenses. So is this a service company or is there some error in RHP? can anyone share his views regarding the same...
