Off topic question:

If I have made loss by trading in options and if i have made profit by playing in Dream 11 or vice-versa. Would both of them get nullified during IT return?

Profit of dream11 is a lottery taxable at 30% taxable under Other Sources
and loss from trading is STCL which can only be setoff from either STCG or LTCG under the head Capital Gains.

Quite liking this one but very wary for the long term at this pricing which is very very tight. Has to perform with similar growth and margins for another 2 years at the very least to become reasonable.

​@NeoLongus Observed optimism in this very counter but with a cautious outlook, which is a good sign. If applying is easy decision, allotment is going to be tough and then comes the choice to keep or take partial exit. Let's keep a keen watch.

Out of topic but related to IPO only
I have opned minor bank account in ICICI bank. But when I apply for IPO through ASBA from her ICICI account it shows my PAN no. Will it be issue if I apply for IPO from my account and my daugher account?

Yes, it will get rejected. You need to get the PAN updated, I had visited the branch and got the minor PAN updated after creation (It was showing my pan for my minor account too after account creation in ICICI).

As per my analysis company is doing excellent and doing capex using IPO fund so long term chances 90% that it will reward good.

But current scenario of financial trend is downward after listing and valuation is bit high.

So short term it's lumpy ride may go down if it post bad quarterly result but future is good so if you are in profit by IPO allotment than take out your capital and hold profit shares for 5 years horizon.

Senior members need your guidance. I got huf ePAN. Now I want to open HUF account just for IPO purpose. Please tell me that in which bank i should go for account creation to have smooth IPO application process. Also please suggest good demat broker for HUF.

Depends on the subscription and your luck, but mostly 3 retail has better chances.
Mostly this is how the chances are BHNI->Retail->SHNI for allotment.

Experts please suggest, which will be better way to attempt this IPO due to fund crunch. 1 BHNI & 3 Retail or 4 SHNI.

That's not true. Its a subsidized scheme from center and state govts.
The electricity produced to be utilized in personal premises and sell the surplus to the grid, if any.

Hello..I have a one query to NRI investor & experts, I had got 1 lot allotment of creative Graphics SME in my ICICIdirect NRE account but when I sold it the bank has deducted Rs. 62000 TDS (20 % of share sale amount which is 3,10,000). So I want to know what is the rule , Is tds applicable on profit or gross sales amount. I haven't got proper answer from bank yet. I will be very thankful to you for your reply.

​@Gingal  I am not using an NRO account but the deduction made in your case seems wrong. Firstly, the bank should deduct 15% TDS from the STCG not 20%. Secondly, they should deduct from the gains and not the complete transaction value (otherwise on every transaction even sold on loss, 20% money will be deducted). However, in case, your consideration value was showing as "0" which normally happens in the case of a gifted or transferred share, then the whole transaction amount might be showing as profit and the bank deducted TDS on the whole transaction amount. Please consult with a tax consultant and share the findings in this forum so that others can also benefit. Thanks

​@Jey Nayak what you are saying is the premium for confirm allotment. 900/- is the fix rate for Retail application irrespective of any allotment. If Retail gets oversubscribed by say 6x, then only 1 in 6 applications will get allotment. this probability gets discounted in the fix rate, hence it is lower.
