No, need not enter details every time in Axis, but OTP is required to apply!

In Canara bank, need to enter dmat number every time but in IDFC First Bank, it will be pre-filled (One time process) only just enter quantity

RBL Bank cut off time??

RBL - 3:30 cut off for HNI.
Also, RBL is fastest in releasing the money. Even the BHNI money gets unblocked on the allotment day. E.g. Whenever bigshare is Registrar money gets debited/unblocked by 7:30 PM, even before it comes out on the site. For Linkintime/Kfintech by 9-10 pm or max early morning next day.

Hi @MVP Bro, which variant of RBL saving bank account to be opened to create linked FD? Is the FD creation possible online or need to visit branch? Is it similar to MoneyMultiplier in ICICI bank if you are using it? TIA

​@IPOFreak That's the only problem, the linked fd, called as Flexi Sure FD in RBL, cannot be created online, we need to visit the branch for that. Luckily for me, the RBL branch is close to my home.

​@MVP Bhai please can you confirm whether rate of interest on RBL saving account is applicable for one day too or whether there is any lock-in-period required for earning interest @ 7.5% for saving account ?

Just recently i applied JNK India BHNI post 3 PM, and I even got the allotment. To be honest even i was under impression that 3PM is the deadline in RBL for HNI. My guess is, deadline is different for SME and main board.

So looks like the cut-off time has been extended.

Hi,

I am trying to understand this 'Linked FD' concept. Inputs please.

Does this mean that, if I have 10 lakh FD in RBL and zero in my savings account
1) Can I still apply for IPO through ASBA route ?
2) If yes, then will interest be paid on FD for the duration of block period ?
3) On allotment, will FD automatically break (incurring FD cancel charges) and the amount gets debited from the account ?

​@Tejas Pandya  I have minor account in Kotak and ICICI. But bank is not updating the pan card with Minor pan card. Hence when I apply application from Guardian and minor both are getting rejected. Does anyone knows which bank allows minor account with minor pan card

Since how many time it's changed? , I was under impression of 3 PM and applying in hurry before 3 PM until today : )

1.Hdfc bank :- 3 p.m. cut off time
Unblocking usually after 11 pm on the day of unblocking..
2. Indus ind bank :- same experience as @Jitesh Investor .. sometimes I have to mail them to unblock first thing in the morning..

Axis Bank - cut off time 3:30 PM for HNI
mostly funds gets unblocked by 11 or 12 pm..
overall, good exp.

i am not using SBI, heard that SBI is having cut off time as 2 pm for HNI through ASBA.

HDFC already confirmed by @Tejas Pandya bhai.

through UPI, limit is 5 lakhs, means, we can apply in only sHNI or retails. and cutoff for UPI will be 4:30pm for all banks..

RBL - 3 PM
IOB - 2 PM ( recently it shows after 2 also )
BOB - 3 PM
HDFC - 3 PM
INDIAN BANK - Not sure it shows till 4-5 but was not able to apply in vi as it was always ended in error

Bro unblocking timings I am not sure about , it varies a lot anf honestly I have not tracked it

Contrary to general perception in public domain, the cut-off time in HNI appls is not fixed at 3 PM as some Banks allow upto 3:30PM.

I request members to write to their banks on the following Best practices highlighting the Banks
1. Cut off Time : Axis Bank 3:30 PM, RBL 3:30 PM, Equitas 3:15 PM
2. Unblocking of Funds : Banks must unblock funds latest by 12 PM consistently as many banks like Axis, IDFC, ICICI invariably unblock by 11-12PM.

@Tejas Pandya bhai, I am writing to IndusInd Bank in this regard. Also, I am raising a complaint why they have cut-off time at 3 PM where as their competitor have kept time upto 3:30 PM.

1.IDFC First Bank accepts HNI applications till 3:30 pm and retail applications till 4:30 pm on last day.

2. ICICI Bank has cut-off of 3 pm for HNI and 4 pm for retail. These are there published cutoff timings but sometimes few minutes beyond these also got accepted.

Exchanges allow applications till 5 pm on last day of the issue, but every bank has own norm as buffer time to accept, process and submit the applications to respective exchange.

SBI : 2 PM

Also FEDERAL Bank for some issues 2 PM and for some 3 PM

BOI, KOTAK, IOB, INDIAN BANK, BOB, CBI, Yes Bank, HDFC, INDUSIND, PNB and even ICICI in SME : till 3 PM

ICICI, AU SFB, AXIS, IDFC, RBL are offering till 3:30 PM

CANARA is offering extended times till 4:00 PM

But the second part of putting pressure or persuading banks for following best practices perhaps is beyond the scope here. Nahin?

​@Sidharison I also use Upstox for one of my accounts. As Citibank India operations is taken over by Axis, inplace of getting the IFSC and other particulars changed, I simply added another bank account (ICICI) without any hassles. In your case also, since you already linked another bank account with full credentials, there should not be any issue in getting divided etc. now.
