Slow and steady wins the race

Just sharing my little bit understanding of share valuations. What I have usually noticed is Once ANY company hits 2000 crore revenue then the market is very generous in giving 12000-15000 crore market cap, this is especially true for FMCGs.

This company already had 2300 crore revenue and its promoters are expert in inorganic growth. Monopoly business. And it is available for less than 14,000 crore valuation.

Fundamentally there is Nothing wrong with this company.

In fact to me it is Undervalued till 20,000 market cap but if it delivers great results in future then it can go even higher.
Price got depeessed due to market sentiment and fear.

Peak selling of the first hour is over, 2.25 crore shares have been traded. Assuming 80% of them to be IPO shares, it comes to around 1.8 crore shares.

Price should stabilize now, if there is institution buying and broader market recovery, some uptick can be seen.

Long term investors can stop seeing the price, short term investors can make a decision as per their risk appetite. (current price 560)

I think we can see 600+ again today?

On A Day When Nifty Down By 225 Points Bank Nifty By 400 Points Midcap Index By 700 Points And All The Big Big Surmas Like Reliance - L&T - HDFC And All The Other Stocks Also Down By 2-3-4-5 .... % Then Its Natural Any IPO Will Be Down With Below Expectation Price.
Because, 70-80% Retailers & NII's Are Here Only For Listing Gains Just Like "Matka" / "Sikkim Lottery" / "Kerala Lottery" Or Road Side "Teen Patti".. :) :) :)

Now What, QIB's Are Not Dumb And Uneducated, Their Huge Huge Interest Shows The Future Potential Of This Gem. So, Those Rest 20-30% Investors Who Knows About The Nature of Share Markets Be Upset Because Listing Was Below Expectation....But Do Not Just Exit By Selling All of Your Allotted Shares. Because No Matter What You Think To Buy At Lower Level After Selling @ Higer Level...That Lower Level Never Come For Those. Not Even 1% Can Buy @ That Lower Level, Because More Fear Is There At Every Lower Level. :) :) :).

So, If You Have 3-6 Months Time Then Can Hold Tight.
About Election Results, Some Members Have Dreams Like Mungerilaal...
For Them.. BJP Will Come To Power With Minimum 300 Seats. Thats Enough... Now 330-350-270-400 etc etc is Just Excuses Done By Big Operators or Big Players To Make Fool Small Investors To Exit.

So, Either 300 or 400 or Even 542 Seats, Only Next Policy By BJP Is The Matter Not Seats Number. So, This Uncertinatiry By The Name of 330 - 350 -370 -400 Setas Is Not Going To Impact Even By 5% For Policy Once BJP Wins.
And BJP Winning Thats 100% Sureshot Like The Stock Which Going To Surprise In 3-6 Months.. :) :).

And funny part is, those who are commenting and painting this as 'politically motivated' statements, they themselves believe in @RajBreaks prediction and that is why they are in the stock market currently. Whoever believes otherwise like crap 200, 220 numbers, they would have run away from markets liquidating all their positions by now.

Everyone knows what could happen to markets if their 200, 220 seat statement come true for ruling party.

Bjp and nda jointly will get more than 350 seat and modiji will become pm for their 3 Rd time and also congress and ind alliance also get 350 seat ...... Not from election but from gopal tent ⛺ house.

still holding all the lots now at near 600

NSE alone delivery 55% till now. ~1.4 Cr shares exchanged hands in NSE alone.. Big hands grabbed shares.. will be interesting next few days in this counter.. Lets see.

Listing was below expectations; Sold 2/3 shares, holding 1/3 shares.
Cost of aquisition is quite less now even after taxes. I will be giving it some quaters to manifest itself. Till then I am in sleep mode at this counter. Even if company vanishes not much lost.
Politics will go on. India will grow irrespective of any government.
Because it's our country and we, hard working people of India, will not let it go down the hill.

People are very emotional (happy, agitated, angry etc) here. Trading and investment is good when it's boring.
Now I am bored, in searching for something new now.

I had learnt a thing from seniors in this forum that you should stick to a particular strategy while investing, be it IPOs or secondary market. They used to say, don't forget the cause/intention for which you have applied, was that for listing gains or holding it for long term.

Was allotted 3 retail lots, I purely applied for listing gains, but didn't stick to my strategy of selling in pre-open and now can't do anything but regretting it. I might have lost an opportunitistic gains of roughly 12,000 today but have learnt a lesson and will stick to my strategy in the upcoming IPOs.

Felt like posting it here.

No worries @Curio, everyone goes through this, emotions play a big role in trading and on listing day.

This might have costed you little profits but gave you some strong lessons. Best wishes for future IPOs.

Amazed by market ...

After holding nerves for some time... sold 1 shni at 530/- just to not get stuck in LC

Almost immediately it went into 'V' shape recovery and now at 570/-

Unfortunately sold at almost bottom.

Holding is the key, anything can happen.

Soon 600+ on cards 🔥 be ready guys market also slowly recovering 😁🤞

In this fall just point out how many mistakes from below you have committed and try to minimise (I personally feel AVOID is not possible) and start a new investment journey.

Bought 100 shares for day trading at 607...but now guess I have to hold them a bit longer...not happy with post listing movement...was not expecting that..Good I placed preopen buy order at 650 and it didn't got executed. Atleast saved from more losses.

great chance for those who missed on IPO allotment. Said the same in Inox India and people didn't believe it and now it's trading at 1500. Indegene will show 1000+ levels in few months time.
