Until mandate is not accepted, HNI application is not considered and you can apply via ASBA for HNI. Only when funds are blocked the application is considered complete @Abby
Dear friends, please help on urgent basis as BOB ASBA close time is 3:00PM.
Which type of investor category we need to select in BOB ASBA to apply in SHNI. I had selected Others ( Entities other than QIB, Boadies, Corp, IND) because in Individual, the limit to apply is showing as 14000-200000, so i had selected 3rd option.
@Aman Soni Now while checking my application, investor category is showing as NOH, is it correct & what you mean by NOH. So my application is valid right because I had selected Others ( Entities other than QIB, Boadies, Corp, IND) in investor category. Are you using BOB ASBA & did you got any allotment in SHNI category in BOB ASBA?
Just a deviation from the topic here. Wanted a clarification with regards to my sister’s kid (20 yrs.) who will be going to the USA for her studies on a F-Visa in July ‘24. Considering that she will not be staying in India for 180 days, can she still invest in IPO on her behalf. She has a demat trading account here and was allotted Vodafone-Idea shares last month. She has no intent on taking any funds from this account to the USA. Will there be any complications if she continues to invest in Indian IPO?
Can she invest today in INDEGENE?
(Anyone here who has someone studying in the USA and applying for IPO’s on their behalf?) Thanks!
Thank god ... applied in all by early morning itself ....now seeing our forum one by one all bank netbanking going down ... in Vodafone fpo I lost opportunity for 2 application ... it will be interesting how bank network gonna behave on 10th may ...
Yes, I had come across this problem, you need to log out and log in again in other Browers, (chrome/Microsoft edge) or just try clicking left bottom side of the popup box by predicting the location of "confirm " dialogue box.
I am having two accounts. Hv applied for 68 lots from one and 69 lots from another i. e. though both are in BHNI category but they differ in lots. Is this a good strategy to hv increased allotment chances? If yes, then why? If no, then why? From another, applied for one rii. All experts pl. @newgen consultancy @Chote lal @MuStrFc@Vimal Garodia
Further, would it hv been better, had I applied from both the accounts in BHNI category for the same lots i.e. 68 lots or 69 lots of 70 lots of 71 lots..... Pl respond with logic.

In oversubscription, its all the same, whether the lot size is more than the minimum for that category. It has little relevance whether your both accounts are in the same lot category or not, as there are many others who do so. In the end its lottery in lot categories with equivalent percentage of allotment chance. Something like this works in SMEs but not in mainboards. @JOYS
