If it is subscribed 2x then you will get shares worth 5 lacs

The moment subscription (application wise) crosses 1, you will get 2 lakh worth shares if you are picked in lottery.

So 2 times over subscription or 10 times or 200 times does not matter. Anything above 1 time subscription, means lottery and on allocation 1 lot (equal to approx 2 lakh)

​@IPOGainers - Application wise is already divided by 5 ( Maximum Allottees), current case ~8760. This itself is subscribed ~12x times, so 1 in 12 will get one SHNI lot.
5L will come if its not subscribed 1x(applications wise not amount wise)

BHNI becomes fully subscribed when it's around 5x as it is mostly 10 Lakh per application but allotted 2 Lakh.

​@Ratgali It is all about fortunes in favour, lady-luck on your side or Lakshmi ji ki kripa ... that one gets allotment in oversubscribed issues. BTW, if you had applied in VI FPO, you must have got confirmed allotment. One more suggestion, when issue is oversubscribed, there is no point blocking your money by bidding for more than one lot.

The purpose of not expecting and be so optimistic is to avoid late night anxious wake up and getting irritating over delay in allotment process . Relax as if you may not get allotment and sleep tight .😊😊🙏🙏

Hoping for allotment tonight, which means I may have to be ready Monday morning by pre-open, which also means I have to cast my vote before that.

This would be first time I would be casting my vote so early in the day.

​@Rakcyt: thanks to so many IPOs since last 6 months, I have stopped waiting for allotment status over nights. I sleep on time, and check status next morning. In case of Bigshare only, I check it in night when it is SME, othervise, I just check it in morning.. Linkintime ke waqt toh site pe check nahi karta, just see if debit/unblock message has come or not 😁

Now you see the reactions of fellow members , so perturbed over delay which was however anticipated .😆😆

It wont get rejected for higher amount(no cutoff at 10.14). Appropriate lots will be grouped, allotted based there % to total % of applications. But number of shares allotted will be almost same for all groups.

In oversubscribed IPO minimum lot size is enough to be considered for lottery in allotment. so it does not matter if one applied 10.14 or or more all of them will be considered for allotment in lottery basis.

​@coxcomb  Min amount for bHNI applicant is just over Rs 10L but allotment will be worth Rs 2L only (sHNI lot). There is no question of revising price for allocation as you mentioned. Once issue is oversubscribed, its lottery and bHNI applicants with min lot have same chance. There are few other regulations too regarding clubbing of higher lots for deciding allotment in lottery. Suggest go through Basis of Allotment (BoA) documents for some of previous issues to understand it better.
