if its 10 application you mean, still its lottery
if its 10 lots, 1 or 10lots does make a difference, since its over subscribed. its considered one application only. again lottery

It's lottery system when over subscribed, the maximum is one lot per pan.

1. If you had applied all10 lots from a single account, then there was not need to apply 10 lots as the retail part was over subscribed (7.86 times). You should have applied only 1 lot.

Retail category was subscribed 7.86 time so out of 7 only 1 have got allotment.

2. If you had applied all 10 lots from all 10 different account then it is a bad luck.

In draw of lots, chances are from 0 to 100%, If someone applied just 1 lot, might get 1 lot in lottery and someone who has applied 7 lots, may not get anything. It is just a matter of chance in lottery. In your case, it is nothing but bad luck.

did u apply from 3rd party ?

In mainboard IPO,
retail category and HNI category
in case of oversubscription , allotment is done on lottery basis.

In SME IPO,
retail category - lottery basis
HNI category - preference to higher no. of application holders

How many bhni lots you applied?

Its seems that kotak has sent messages only to allottees and remaining amount is also unblocked. No information to non allottees and non allottes are yet to receive the refund.

​@KGSKIPO  No messages were sent by the Bank. Came to know on checking the staus in ASBA. email was sent by the bank later on. Reaining amount of bHNI application was unblocked. The status of sHNI still pending.
