Seems Like This Time, Retailers (34.75% Allocation) Will Be The Main Listing Day Sellers And Thhen NII's With 14.89% Allocation.

But QIB's Are Super Hungry For This Gem. Applied 192 Times Which Is More Than 3 Times Than Combined "NIIs & Retails" For Their Lesser Allocation of 19.85%.
Boss, Chances For Them To Go All Out For This.
So, For Listing Day Blast, Do Not Put Useless Pre Order Sell Order B4 10 am.

And, If Funds Are Available Then Think To Keep Minimum 50% In Your Protofolio From The Allotted Lots.

Not Each and Every Investor Is A member of CG.
But Still CG Has A Very Large Number of Members As Investors.

So, I Believe Even If CG Members Do Not Put Pre Order Sell And Market Is Not A Very Big Negative Then It May Surprise By Touching Near 850 Price Brand Tomorrow.

I have allotted one SHNI along with 6 retail application
I will not put any pre order to sell

Insread of selling at any price on listing day. One can think for a 5% trailling SL factor and chase the higher price.
EX: Let say if opening is 400/@9.45am. Then Selling trigger price will be @ 380 and selling price @379. Just set this price in the sell window and be ready, press the sell button if price comes down breaking 390 befor going near 420. But if price goes up near 420 after opening at 400 which is 5% more than opening price. Then, set Selling Trigger Price at 400 and sell Price at 399 and be ready, press the sell button if price comes down and breaks 410 from the up near 420. And so on.. If reaches near 440 then set new Selling trigger price at 420 and selling price @419 in the window and be ready. Press the sell button only if price breaks 430 from the up near 440.
And everytime you must cancle the previous sell order if any and then set the new selling trigger price and sell price and be ready and press the sell button as per said above.
So, at any given time you can get 5% less money from the hiigher price but can chase the maximum higher price too upto the higher circuit limit price.
This 5% factor only for those who are desparate to sell on the listing day. And for those who can monitor the screen continously.

​@Jey Nayak  Better study few of the live cases eg , Tata tech, JNK, DOMS etc etc starting from listing day till today so that you understand entry as well exit points else you should not be left stranded like Abhimanyu of Mahabharata.
Market just never behave plain vanilla hence knowledge of risk factors is important . Even if you get induced to buy ensure for safe Stop loss . I would watch technical chart before entry or exit .

But risk to reward is favourable 👍👍as you loose nothing but time. In case of fall down , keep it for mid/ long term, no harm.

​@CA Saurabh Bansal Fortunately skipped and avoided it completely as fundamentals were not favourable at all. We can't put all the pens in one pen stand and........ some write so bad 😆. Study of fundamentals vis-a-vis sector plays critical role in deciding to hold or not.

​@Jey Nayak I have shared with illustrations in another thread how fundamentals shares give handsome profits if hold for mid to long term. Now it also depends on what and how fast price is settled - say it reaches 1000 marks in a week then one need to reassess the technical parameters to continue hold or not.
Rule of average works better - sell partial at desired target and hold remaining for compounding. Yes it is portfolio stock per se .

PS- This is my personal view , no recommendation.
