Shni allotment chances are lower than retail and bhni due to quota size being lowest.
However, apply shni as one shni allotment covers multiple retail allotment that you would get across ipo.

Shni allotment is usually on lottery, unless shni is undersubscribed.

@nick name You are a small investor means small by funds or small by age. If you have considerable funds you may apply 1 sHNI and 2 retail. Now these days main line IPOs are not coming frequently, you will be able to manage funds. Apply in good issue and as per availability of funds. Otherwise retail is avaible. One sHNI allotment is equal to 14 retail allotments.
I think for small investors one sHNI allotment even in one year is not bad. Whereas retailer two accounts are also there.

@nick name It is always a dielemma for retail investors. If you apply in retail quota, chances of allotment are much better as compared to SHNI. but you will get only 1 lot shares worth 15000 as compared to 15 lots or 2.0 lacs in SHNI. In BHNI, chances of allotment are better as compared to SHNI but you need to invest 10.00 lacs. You have to take decision as per available funds.

Keep in mind. 14 lot allotment mins 14 time bigger profit or loss.
I got just 1 shni allotment still now. And in that case i got 35000 loss in rainbow ipo.

Had you booked loss or profit?

According to me, if management can deliver what they are guiding, then the share price is grossly undervalued at this point and can be a multi bagger. Last year they did 80% revenue growth and they are guiding for 50% revenue growth for this fiscal year. They did 103 crore profit this year and we can expect 150-160 crore profit this fiscal and current market cap is around 6000 crores. So, with such high growth potential and it being in clean energy, p.e ratio of less than 40 times one year forward earnings is a steal according to me.
