Aapko kuchh alag karne ki zarurat nahi hai.
Nahi kisi aur document ki zarurat hai.
Jaise aap retail apply karte ho, SBI Online banking se waise hi karna hai, bas aapko 14 lots yaa use jyada ki quntity mention karni hai aur cutoff price ko "select nahi karna hai".

How share are allotted in bHNI category? Can anyone explain with example?

Hi @Earthking You are right. My answer was trying to simplify the allotment process for understanding purpose.

Number of lots you applied divided by times of subscription.

Below is the example

If it is subscribed 2 times, you will get 7 lots(14/2)

If it gets subscribed 4 times, you will get 3(14/4) lots minimum and one lot will be lottery
If it gets subscribed 15 times, you may get 0(14/15) or 1 lot(in lottery)

this will subscribe atleast 60x in retail. Apply with a pinch of salt as allotment will be really very difficult

I would go for 1 SHNI in IdeaForge.

I expect essen retail to get subscribed more than 100 times, while ideaForge SHNI around 70-80 times.

Go for this high performing fancy stock which is a market leader in its segment. But chances of allotment are extremely slim.

Other than the high asking price (P/E of 87) and being over-dependent on the defense sector, I don't see any negative in ideaForge. With a GMP that's inching closer to 100% and the mindblowing Dec 2022 listing of DroneAcharya, there is no reason not to ride this IPO euphoria. Retail allotment will be very tough so apply only on the 4th day to avoid locking your funds from now. This may not be a portfolio stock though. Thanks.

UPI limit for applying in ipo is rs 500000/-
Can you pls confirm it is for one ipo or overall limit .I was trying for 4 different ipo.1st three is successful but 4th failed .
Reason -your UPI limit as per bank is exceed.

But UPI applications in HNI are known to throw one or another problem, so my suggestion is apply from your Bank using ASBA method.

Nowdays investment be like :- Invest your money in where you can get allotment.

@RajMehata Same as retail, when application amount cross 2L, you are treated as sHNI. JUST TAKE ONE PRECAUTION don't select cut off, PUT PRICE MANUALLY

Allotment in all categories will be tough , with Retail may subscribe 100 to 150 times.

It wont go above 60

I will be happy if my assumption goes wrong as lesser subscription in Retail will increase chances of allotment to that extent. My assumption is based on previous Retail subscription worth about 5000 to 7000 cr rupees in other fancied IPOs in past cases.
