i applied for idea shares for 94,500 (1260 shares).....
while checking the online status on bigshare site it shows
"No Records"....and i havent recevied and refund and no shares also in my account..what shd i do..?????????please suggest

sabyasachi what are ur valuation considerations for idea? I do agree with you on your general market trend. But i am not getting your stock specific observations. whether it is rcom, ttml or bharti. Telecom sector witll boom any way isn't it?

ya friends i think this discussions between us will end afetre idea listing but i want your frank opinion about my comments.i will write my comments in any of open issues which has got public attentions.

see man outlook of telecom sector for 3-5 minths is not so good

also market fall is inevitable if it is not able to sustain above 12800 for 7-8 days

relcom which is index stock surely will move with index

if market reaches 100000 it will reach 300-320 buy at that time man

dont worry india will go great guns

but only after some pain

i would say it would bne better if u invest ur total portfolio in fd for next 6 months and then reenter market it will give more return

guj ambuja- whu play in this sector at present when government is against it-it is always risky-there is tussle between chidambaram and cement companies.better wait for further correction u will get gujamb at attractive valuation when bajar falls


as far as tcs is concerned -there is graet earning visibility any fall upto 950-1000 range just accumulate and keep it for children

such levels will arrive shortly

i will give 1 point now regarding market fall


1. fundamental- global economics-yen carry trade unwinding will affect india directly and indirectly

2. technically- market is giving bearish signals on chart just wait it is fillingf gaps at 3851 and will fall may be upto 3600 and further at 3200

Has anyone received refund via PHYSICAL WARRANT? My IPO status form shows that refund will be done via PHYSICAL WARRANT even though my a/c is in the city where refund is mandatory via ECS. Kindly enlighten me on this.

yaar log suno, just simply compare present and furture of idea with the existing giants like relcom and bharti. idea at present is loss making co. also like other players it is not in landline and broadband and other telecom business. even compare it with ttml which has turned around and repoted profits. idea from no angle is chaep at 75 it is expensive also with this weak market which will touch 10000 for sure in 3-4 months dont expect idea to do weell. even al;l telcom co are going to face tough thimes
even mtnl is better than idea.

Idea is a very good scrip, do not sell it on the listing date. Unless the market is very weak on Friday, it is going to be listed above 90Rs.
