Almost 8.6 Cr shares are applied in Price bids and only 1.3 Cr shares in cut off under shareholders category. What is the advantage of applying in Price bids.
I think it is a problem with the naming of ''price bids'' for all bids where ''cut-off'' checkbox is not ticked and we enter the price. For folks who enter 334 in the price bid, it is as good as ''cut-off''.. read my last post copied below ... there are 89.8% of such bids at Rs 334 classified as ''price-bid''.
"I am not sure if this is right however i see in the BSE/NSE demand schedule that while 10% of the total bids are at cut off price, almost 89.8% of bids are at Rs 334 effectively making 99.8% of bids at Rs 334 (cut off price). Experts can confirm."
I checked the cumulative bid details and although number of shares applied through cut off (including price bid at Rs 334) is around 93Cr but they have not provided category wise segregation, so it is not clear how many shares are applied at Rs 334 in RII and shareholders category.
The subscription figure shows the rumurs by big players for valuation & all .Retail Investor invested cautiously. Now they will regret once share listed.

It seems the shareholder quota has got more subscription that Retail. Please advice me to get max. subscription, should i invest in the Shareholders quota or as a normal Retail Investor.
Assuming that in shareholders category the shares applied in price bids will be less than Rs 334 than there is 100% change to get full allotment in this category.
