Any body can correctly give the no. of applicants in Retail section...from this we can understand the allotment process...then only those applied at cut off from this ........if more than 1298237 applicants then chance of lottery system other wise all Valid applicants in Retail applied at cut off will get allotment for sure.

either u can give cutoff Or u can give three price bids. QIB and HNI gave price bids. ON BSE demand graph one can easily see price bids at each rupee in 300-334 category. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala also applied in this issue as per infomration given by business channels......but why so hype is made ...????.....Many times the big daddy also have to bear losses.....it is stock market....nobody can be proved always right here.........QIB and HNI subscribed at what rate....it is important....if they subscribe at cut off...it is fine but at lower band means they are sure that issue was at higher price........List gain may be ZERO.
I have not gone through the details myself and therefore can''t really speak with conviction; but my sense is that they would want to find a way out so that existing shareholders are not at a disadvantage vis-a-vis other retail applicants. After all the very idea was to reward the existing bank shareholders. There could be a situation where a bank shareholder does not even apply retail option, believing he has been given this privilege. Not everyone tracks the numbers closely. What if they decide to combine the two categories. Or at least one guaranteed allocation to all applicants in this category. Let''s see.
ALLOTMENT TO RIIs: Bids received from the RIIs at or above the Issue Price may be grouped together to determine the total demand under this category. If the aggregate demand in this category is less than or equal to the Retail Category at or above the Issue Price, full Allotment may be made to the RIIs to the extent of the valid Bids. If the aggregate demand in this category is greater than the allocation to in the Retail Category at or above the Issue Price, then the maximum number of RIIs who can be Allotted the minimum Bid Lot will be computed by dividing the total number of Equity Shares available for Allotment to RIIs by the minimum Bid Lot (“Maximum RII Allotteesâ€). The Allotment to the RIIs will then be made in the following manner: (a) In the event the number of RIIs who have submitted valid Bids in the Issue is equal to or less than Maximum RII Allottees, (i) all such RIIs shall be Allotted the minimum Bid Lot; and (ii) the balance available Equity Shares, if any, remaining in the Retail Category shall be Allotted on a proportionate basis to the RIIs who have received Allotment as per (i) above for the balance demand of the Equity Shares Bid by them (i.e. who have Bid for more than the minimum Bid Lot). (b) In the event the number of RIIs who have submitted valid Bids in the Issue is more than Maximum RII Allottees, the RIIs (in that category) who will then be Allotted minimum Bid Lot shall be determined on the basis of draw of lots.
ALLOTMENT UNDER THE ICICI BANK SHAREHOLDERS RESERVATION PORTION Bids received from ICICI Bank Shareholders under the ICICI Bank Reservation Portion at or above the Offer Price may be grouped together to determine the total demand under this category. The Allotment to all successful ICICI Bank Shareholders may be made at or above the Offer Price. If the aggregate demand in this category is less than or equal to the ICICI Bank Shareholders Reservation Portion at or above the Offer Price, full Allotment may be made to ICICI Bank Shareholders to the extent of their demand. In case the aggregate demand in this category is greater than the ICICI Bank Shareholder Reservation Portion at or above the Offer Price, Allotment may be made on a proportionate basis up to a minimum of the ICICI Bank Shareholder Reservation Portion.
Demand in both QIB and HNI category are very high, hence be sure of fabulous listing of around minimum 10-15% gain. Congratulation to all RII who applied on Cutoff and who applied on Price bids of Rs. 334. confirm allotment
plz. clearify that HNI or QIB have applied at what prices. i.e. cut off or not....?....as per various post on this platform....HNI & QIB not applied on Cut off prices but they bid at the lowest band.....plz clearify on this platform..........
Applied for 9 lots in shareholder category. I am sure will not get even 1 lot. However, surely would have get allocated if applied the same in retail category. It''s a loss for shareholder and advantage for non shareholders.

If total number of applications in retails are less than the number of applications that can be given 1 lot, then will those who have given price bids get 1 lot or those who have applied multiple lots at cut-off get the preference?
