In Shareholder category total no of ap is around 79000. so all shareholder applicants up to 3 lots should get full allotment. over and above this will be by way of lottery.
In Smart Investment site it is mentioned that in Shareholder category the total number of Applicants is 79213.

In shareholder category allotment will happen on proportionate basis. So its not like every one will get 3 lots necessarily. If you have applied for 13 lots, you can get 1 or 2 lots. Not more than if all applications are valid. In SH category there are more rejection chances as people not having ICICI shares also applied in that category. In that case you may get 1 more lot. But most probably 1 or 2 lot only.
Guys, while i see the data of 79000 applications in Shareholder category on smart invest site which is taken as source for the post 700.1 (http://smartinvestment.in/?_ult_url_par..) , it is hard to believe as this translates into 63.4 lots per application (total of 5029333 applied in SH category). This further translates into each application average of INR 9.33 Lakhs which looks very extremely high unless there are corporate/QIB who hold ICICI shares and are allowed to bid in shareholder category.
@ 700.5 - the category was open for all share holders of ICICIBk. therefore HNIs (who are shareholders) would have applied in this category rather then applying in NII category as this category offered better allocation as compared to NII segment.
the allocation is going to be only proportionate so seems there may be unsuccessful applicants also.
consider this someone who applied upto 11 lots in this category will be eligible for anything between 4 to 43 shares while min allocation lot is 44 shares.
so there may be a discretion / decision required how to deal with such applicants - purely going by rule they will end up getting 4 to 43 shares, but ALL get something, or by lottery people get min 44 shares for those who applied upto 11 lots and thereafter all get proportionate only.
I think only individual and HUF were allowed to apply under shareholders category not all types of shareholders.Otherwise even MFs, Corporates, other banks etc would be applying as shareolders. HUF may have aplied in large quantities in excess of Rs 2 lakhs that normally interest an individual shareholder.
New Edge Finvest In IPL all retail applicants will get 44 shares + those who applied for more than one lot will get additional 1/6 shares of additional shares applied. Accordingly who applied max lot of Rs.200000 will get at least 132 shares.
I believe.. whether it opens up or lower...this is a long-term scrip...keep this for 10-15 years...u will thank me for sure (if u remember me at that time..lol)
If you have noticed the subscription in the shareholder quota, subscription at cut off price is very low! Looks like everyone will get allotment under the shareholder quota if you have bid at 344.. is my reading right?

If total number of applications in retails are less than the number of applications that can be given 1 lot, then will those who have given price bids get 1 lot or those who have applied multiple lots at cut-off get the preference?
Hello! If IPOs were a movie, they would have been categorized as thrillers for sure. With thumbs ups and downs on this IPO by various entities, its better to wait and watch (what else can we do?). Still, its a good show with subscriptions over-pouring at the eleventh hour. However, when people rightly predicted the outcome of an IPO such as ADVENZ, MGL, etc., the probability of allotment goes down. But in ICICI Pru Life IPO, people are having diverse views - good and bad. Still people applied in an overwhelming fashion although probability of allotment is comparatively high. So, whether one gets allotment or not, if allotted - whether gain or loss, if gain or loss - whether short or long term, ONLY TIME WILL TELL. Till then, its better to have some faith in fate. :)
Under QIB and HNI will get share in proportionate basis. Every QIB and HNI applicant known that he gets share and how much shares after completion of bidding. They are bidding on estimate basis that how much times of issue oversubscribe. So after listing some percentage of QIB and HNI entered in market but in this issue fund house are more aggressive and will buy more shares, which of them will be buy in listing day.
Zee Business flash in News that Rakesh Jhunjhunwala also participated in this IPO under HNI category, how much ???.
It is favorite segment of Foreign Fund house and they are very aggressive at the time of bidding of Ancher Portion. All broker and FII are expected that IPL will be list at Rs. 400/-.
Thanks god, I first applied today, than withdrawn the bid at 1230pm and than finally placed a bid for a lot under normal retail category.. now looks the issue will not in discount on listing
