The issue says that 50% of shares are reserved for QIB , 15% for NII & 35% for retail individual investors. However, the figure mentioned here in terms of number of shares tells something else. Ye data seedhe seedhe NSE ki site se copy kiya hua hota hai kya? Is there any chance of typo error??
Data is absolutely correct. But 50% for QIB, 15% of NIB and 35% of retail calculated from total number of shares before the anchor investor.
ICICI main 1600cr ke share anchor investor ko allot kiye gaye hai. so that much quantity of share is deducted from QIB only and NIB and retail quota will remain as it is
I have applied for 1 lot under the share holder''s category at 316. Is there any chance that I might be allotted something? I will be glad for any honest views. Thanks in advance
Hans... Sorry to disappoint you. But you have very less possibility of getting an allotment since the issue got oversubscribed by a significant number of times. Assuming that 70% of the subscribers bid at the highest price tag will mean the company will go for the highest price tag bidders. Anyways, good luck.
Hello! I applied for 07 lots @cutoff 334/- under shareholders reserved portion. How good is the chance of getting allotment? Going through the comments, it seems applying through RII would have been better. Am I missing something here?
Are MF,Banks,Insurance company who hold shares of particular company are eligible to apply under shareholders quote in IPO?If no than who is the owner of shares of MF?
Dear all, Please guide me. If I apply any IPO through ASBA in 5 different application(DP and PAN same) and issue is oversubscribed by 10x in retail category. Does my 5 application will be treated separate applications for lottery system.
Dp and pan never same.you can apply only one application via one person pan number.if you try this all your application rejet.one pan apply in only one.if you have delay a/c in multiple broker then also not possible because of pan no same reject
Confirmed news all retails application will get allotment since Retail approx applications is10,48,692 meaning 85% application people who have applied for more then one lot will get pro rate….. so all applicant we get minumum 44 shares at least
I need an advise on a blunder I committed while applying to the Prudential ICICI Insurance IPO.
Initially, I applied for 10 lots at Rs. 334 through ICICIDirect. A day later, I realized that, as a shareholder of ICICI Bank, I am entitled to preferential allotment in the IPO. So, I applied under shareholder category through ICICI Direct. It was then I realized that, my ICICI Bank shares are transfered to another DP last month.
In such case, how would my applications be treated? Please help me understand the process of allotment.
As per my guess If PAN number is same for both account(the demat from which you have applied under shareholder category and the demat which currently have ICICI bank share before 7/09/2016) then your application will alloted under shareholder category.
Otherwise it will be rejected.
P.S. AS PER MY GUESS. Correct me if anyone have accurate information
DONT WORRY...IF U HAVE ICICI SHARES IN ANY OF YOUR DEMAT...U WILL GET SHARES...THEY ARE TRACKING SHARE HOLDING THROUGH NAME AND PAN NUMBER...JUST RELAX
You would surely get whole allotment of 6 lots. I think anyone who has applied for 9 lots ore more would get 9 (13 lots / 1.4 times oversubscription) lots of shares at max.
Three big factor of this ipo 1.R J subscribe in ipo 2.all retailer get share 3.HNI good subscription help in listing gain....

Because of false misconception that retailers should only bid at cut-off, all the retailers will suffer. This was such a huge issue that if most retailers would have bid at 300, everyone could have got 1 lot at Rs. 300. However , because of experts suggestions, everyone bid at cut off, implying that now retailers bidding at cut off will get 1 lot at Rs. 334 and those with price bids will not get anything.
My suggestion is that for high priced large issues , retailers should bid at lower price, beneficial to the entire retailer community.
