Did you see the live ceremony ?
It was already known that deals will settle around 9.45, don't think creating such exceptions for a company is fair if the rule says orders can be settled anytime between 9.35 to 9.45 am

Honestly the 9.35am rule doesnt make sense for large issues where manipulation is way harder, will hamper price discovery

But very strange application of very strange rules. SEBI being SEBI 🤷‍♂️

I think because it's the largest ever IPO, the people at NSE and BSE probably considered it as a matter of reputation for Indian markets. The pre open price range between 9:35 and 9:45 is probably the true range of the stock.

@CHATURBANIYA no, they don't get automatically canceled unless those fall beyond the UC and LC range

@kookaburra pre-open orders are valid only for that session. After 10 once open market starts you will have to place new order.

@Govind singh ffdrfhg hope u managed to cancel it as opening price was below 1960 and your orders would have been executed resulting in loss.
