​@IPOswami Which country? US based NRIs are not allowed to apply for IPO as per my info. Are u using NRO or NRE account? Which broker u are using (not possible in ICICIdirect)

I am Qatar based. Using NRE acount through ASBA. My broker ZERODA and AXIS SECURITIES.
My friend in USA(Geen card holder not yet citizen) is aplying IPO and alotted as well.
For US citizen I dont know.

So my friend is applying from NRO - IDFC ASBA.

He is in US and neither a citizen of US or a green card holder. He is on H1B visa.

Should it be NRE account he has to apply or NRO is also fine ?

Means confirm nahi hota ki allotment milega ki nahi.. jab ki yaha pr confirm allotment ke sath jitna utha sako utna maal utha sakte he... So if i applied for 14 lot than 2% ke hisab se 28% mila(agar me ye sochu ki ipo oversubscribed hua he aur 1 lot hi mila he)... means in this ipo returns will be same as other ipo... 25% approx. Bas aapko dav jyada lagana he aur risk thoda jyada lena he...

Will sell ~15% allotment at 5-10% gain (whenever it comes) due to liquidity needs in some accounts at month end. Hold remaining for long term.
Alternately, will keep adding downwards on every Rs 100 decline.

​@GrayIsTheNewBlack ji, If I apply for 200 lots for a SME IPO that I see is 20x subscribed at 2:30 PM, it does not mean I am expecting to be allotted 10 lots or am prepared to hold them. Similarly, QIBs also over-apply based on their expected allocation percentage. I think the notion thet QIBs will monolithically act as strong hands is misplaced. They will be very unemotional about exitng any excess allocation. In fact, I would expect retail and NII investors to be more obstinate about not selling low if the listing is weak.

Absolutely, that's the reason I said the flipper QIBs have not applied.
I have the PAN data of many FIIs, Mutual Funds, AIFs and Banks.
From my observation AIFs and banks are short term players and usually sell quickly while Mutual Funds and FIIs (except few) hold slightly longer.

When I checked the allocation AIFs and banks have mostly avoided this IPO and major allocation has gone to FIIs and MFs and insurance companies.

Still about 7000 Crs is with Retail and HNI and good portion of it is sold in grey market, these orders will be placed on LC by sellers (to avail maximum benefit).
Lets see where it lists, I have zero skin in this game so, +100 or -100 doesn't really make much difference to me.

For the sake of allottes though I hope it is +100 🤞

​@colcol  ji, at the same time this is not an ordinary brand where QIB's like to flip. Finger crossed 🤞

​@colcol  Isn't that criterion valid for every single IPO? And if that's squarely applicable to all IPOs, no scrip can gain on listing.

​@GrayIsTheNewBlack ji, My point was that the QIB subscription numbers barely moved during the last few hours the IPO was open. A long-term QIB that placed a bid at 1:30 targetting to be allotted 100 crs of shares , based on the past patten of subscription picking up between 1:30 to 4:30, could have ended up with 300-400 crs of shares. There is a high likelihood they will exit the excess allocation on the day of listing even as they hold their initially targetted allocation for the long-term.

​@Nothing New Like I said, this IPO was heavily under-subscribed across all categories relative to even the most conservative reasonable estimates being made even on the morning of the last day. So, QIBs that applied are likely allotted more shares than they had expected. The question is when almost everyone who wanted shares has already been allotted as much and, in many cases, more than they are comfortable holding, who is going to turn up to buy on listing ?

Whose PAN is this? Your? Or your daughter's? Also did you select 'cut off' and hilr applying? Or not?

​@Bharat vaishnavi that is strange. Please chekc with Kfintech the reason for non-alotment. since the category was undersubscribed your daugther shoudl have got the allotment.

​@Bharat vaishnavi  If that Phonepe upi is linked to your daughter's bank account, you should email the register @ hmil.ipo@kfintech.com and ask for the reason behind non-allotment.

If the Phonepe wasn't linked to your daughter's account, it could be a third party rejection.

@Nothing Now , But many people here got third Party allotment

kfintech has implemented third party upi check so it is impossible to get allotment in third party account as of now.
