hello cg memebrs please suggest that if tomorrow hyundai ipo will list at discounted price then on which levels it will be a good buy....whats the expected price of listing and on which price it will be good bet....

What is the fascination with buying at a discount ? It is better to buy stocks with strong support rather than try to catch a falling knife. If the stock has a discount listing it is more likely to fall further than to recover, in my opinion.

My own view is that this stock is significantly overvalued at the IPO price and the technical picture is weak. That is why I did not applh and also why I plan to stay away even if there is a 5-10% discount listing. Even if I turn out to be wrong about Hyundai , there are so many other opportunities in the market that are available that I have more conviction in. I would rather focus on them.

Earlier mine PAN card was updated in minor's account. I visited HDFC bank branch and updated his PAN number and applied for Hundayi IPO,minor account got the allotment.

I am still struck in Muthoot Microfinance for nearly an year... Learned not to catch a faaling knife though at present price is looks a bit lucrative.

It may or may not list positive...but sure within a month or two it is surely going to have a free fall...that could be inferred from the way some recently listed stocks like Kross, Northern Arc, Western carrier, tollin tyres, arcade and even bajaj housing are falling. Once anchor investor lock in is finished it will see huge downside in my opinion considering the hefty valuations demanded.

@IPO price it is not trading at hefty valuation, in fact it is trading cheap compared to Maruti (PE=26.7 whereas Maruti PE=30). These so called experts have created an illusion that it is at expensive valuation.

During pricing this IPO, Maruti was trading at 30.5 PE so it has given sufficient room for upside 12 to 15% but Hyundai should trade more than Maruti valuations bcoz of superior EBITDA, PAT margins, ROE and ROCE, Debt/Equity, Strong parentage, R&D, Higher SUV share, upcoming EV launces (4 models before end of next year), increasing production capacity, 94% Capacity utilization, increasing export market share.

If market does not fall drastically from here I see a price of 2250 to 2300 within a week of its listing.

Infact sideways market is more beneficial for Hyundai.

Seems like the GMP upmove was more of short covering, quite a steep fall since morning.
Listing will be interesting to see now.

As per Money control latest GMP is 95 its around 5%, showing a good recovery from negative . It may further inprove by the time it get listed tomorrow .

Sir is Hyundai tomorrow will have 10% or 20% circuit ???
Since promotor holding is more than 75% , i think it will have 10% circuit ... i remeber we had discussion last time and someone said this point ... is it valid for Hyundai sir ????

LIC has received an allotment of ₹1,920 crore in the Hyundai IPO, accounting for nearly 7% of the total issue.

Interestingly, they were not part of the anchor investors.

applied 1 Hni application , but not got any allotment. why ?

30 to 40 % of the comments are in Hindi... takes too much of time to understand. sometimes not at all! :(

I feel the most important thing in life is to keep yourself happy. Stick to your inner voice and take decisions accordingly. No matter what happens. Hyundai is not thae first or last IPO. Let it list wherever it lists. I didn't like the attitude of promoters. They were greedy in deciding the price and this fact still remains intact. Therefore, I decided not to apply Even If it lists at hefty premium, it doesn't make any difference because I still feel that Waree Energies promoters did a great service to the investors by keeping the price band very low although it could have been much higher if compared with recently listed Premier Energy (trading above 200 PE).
So even apart from listing pop up, Waree Energies is 💯 times better than Hundai as a long term bet. If I had to buy one stock on listing, I will definitely go for Waree wit a very bright future as a sector too.
There are so many upcoming IPOs that bypassing one doesn't make any difference. Life is not going to stop if I don't get a small pop up in Hyundai 😀

​@Nothing New If you are so much happy and sure about Hyundai, you could have deployed all your money and git full allotment. Were you your self suure about your investment in Hyundai?

​@ipo share  What makes you believe that I didn't deploy money? I did, as per my capacity, after taking into consideration other obligations and requirements.

As for the happiness goes, I'm a inherently positive person and I become happy when I earn or even as others earn money.

Like the way a few on here say, that they took an informed decision to skip the issue and they ain't bothered about a potential loss of profit, I too took an informed decision and won't be uoset even if there is a small notional loss. I'm sure Hyundai ain't Cartrade and that it won't snatch away my bread and butter.

Risk reward ratio is still not positive ,
Eventhrough GMP manipulations and targeted messages on Learned CG members..
Looking to the QIB numbers ( very below the expectations) , HNI and retail numbers, , i still believe i played safe bet by avoidng this IPO.

Ships at harbour may sink too. Obviousy you have to decide when to sail your ships

... and I am sure of getting better price in some days later. Let us wait n see our luck as well
