4.1.4.1 Maximum and Minimum Bid Size
(a) The Bidder may Bid for the desired number of Equity Shares at a specific price. Bids by Retail
Individual Bidders and Retail Individual Shareholders must be for such number of shares so as to
ensure that the Bid Amount less Discount (as applicable), payable by the Bidder does not exceed `
200,000. Bids by Employees must be for such number of shares so as to ensure that the Bid
Amount less Employee Discount (as applicable), payable by the Bidder does not exceed `500,000.
Retail Individual Bidders or Employees or Retail Individual Shareholders can Bid at the Cut-off
Price indicating their agreement to Bid for and purchase the Equity Shares at the Offer Price as
determined at the end of the Book Building Process. Bidding at the Cut-off Price is prohibited for
QIBs and NIIs and such Bids from QIBs and NIIs may be rejected.
In case the Bid Amount for any Bid under the Retail Portion or Employee Reservation Portion
exceeds ` 200,000 and ` 500,000, respectively, due to revision of the Bid or any other reason, the
Bid may be considered for allocation under the Non-Institutional Category, with it not being
eligible for Discount, then such Bid may be rejected if it is at the Cut-off Price.

1. Individuals
2. HUF
3. Minor
Kindly let us know is there any other ways to open the accounts..

categories mentioned by you are the only category which can participate in retail category.. for NII category you dont need multiple accounts

While applying for IPO, keep one thing in mind that if IPO subscription estimate is more than 1x (applicationwise),
then there is no meaning to apply for more than 1 lot.
Because no one will get more than 1 lot.
(except 1 additional share in the case where total no of shares not completely divided by no. of shares in a lot e.g. total shares 1000255 & lot is 100 shares then 1 additional share alloted to 55 applications)
Then why should block additional amount for 8-10 days.

Also the chances to get allotment is same for applied for no. of lots & 1 lot (the ratio %age is same)

In past I applied IPO many times but unfortunately I didnt get any allotment. So pls advice me how much lot one should apply so that one should get atleast minimum allotment .
I think most of the retail investor have this doubt ?

Yes, Anchor list is not updated on xchange''s site. It seems Co has not opted for the same. Is it mandatory? Don''t know.

I have applied through SBI Netbanking and for 3400 shares at cutoff (60) and lien was marked for 2,04,000. (SBI ASBA not giving flat discounts while applying) So where will my application be put i.e. HNI or RII...

Even my application has not been subjected to modification or deletion as message poped up is "you can''t modify for downward revision or delete application but you can put upward revision" (SBI net banking -ASBA)

Hello, mere pass 2 demat Account hai but dono Ka Account number alag hai & PAN no. Same hai. To IPO application dono se apply kar sakte hai ya 1 se hi..or dono demat se apply karte hai to reject ho sakta hai??..Pls reply urgently

While applying ASBA in HUDCO on SBI netbanking, at cutoff it shows 60 instead of 58... So should we apply at 58 taking flat 2 Rs discount.. And second problem is applying at 60 (cutoff) for 3400 shares under RII, it comes to 2,04,000..in SBI ASBA (don''t calculate flat 2 discount on its own)... Pl guide

Banks systems will take care of applying 2 Rs discount. I applied for 3400 shares and 197K were put on hold as I opted Retail ASBA/
