S Chand Listing: Me, Septa sir already told to stay away from this ipo. Education sector is not giving returns. It was brokers game about Grey Market Premium, Kostak etc. Brokers burn their fingers in this ipo.
We can see some negative effect in HUDCO grey market premium, kostak. But don''t be afraid. Apply in HUDCO without fear. Return will be good.
how does shares are alloted to HNI category in case of over subscription? I found below ans? Is it true? "If A particular HNI client has applied for 10 lakh shares and the HNI quota is over-subscribed by 150 times. The total shares that will be allotted to him will be 6666. This number arrives by dividing the total number of shares applied for by the number of times that it has been over-subscribed. "
If you put Rs. 2 lakh, then one lot is not guaranteed. However, if you put application for 1,00,000 shares, you will definitely get one lot (probably 1,000 and above). However, it is pro-rata basis, so much depends on how many times it is oversubscribed in HNI category and number of applications received.

Panna Lal Ji mere pass two Demat hai ek mera our dusara mere friend ka. To mai ek Demat se RII category me apply kar deta hu aur dusere Demat me HNI category se apply kar deta hu. To ye kaisa rhega ? Kis category se Jada chance hai IPO Milne ka. Kya iska fayada hoga ?? Plz detail me bataeyega. Please.
1) Is applying at Rs 60 different then clicking at cut -off option? Because both of these give a price of 60 . Any advantage by selecting cut off instead of manually entering highest price band .
2) Secondly , in an application you can make a bid thrice ? Does that makes a difference , what exactly is that option available for?
P.S I''m new here , so just learning a few basics , please let me know .
Chances are high in HNI category. The bigger the amount, higher chances and you may also get more shares. For example, if somebody is applying for 1,00,000 shares, he/she might get 1,000 or more shares. The actual number depends on various factors like how many times the issue is oversubscribed, how many total applications are received etc.

In Hudco I have applied through Axis bank and SBI net banking for different d-mat accounts. Axis has deduct 11800 while SBI has deduct 12000. Is there any problem during allocation or both are valid applications? Expert comment Pls..

Apply at cut of price RS 60 in HUDCO at the time of allotment you will get discount of Rs 2 block RS 12000
Has anybody noticed this? The rating of this IPO on this forum is constantly 4.1, it has not changed. I mean, number of votes has changed drastically in one last week, but the rating (though average) has remained 4.1, STRANGE. I hope the admin is updating rating properly.
0 or 200 if you are lucky, most probably 0. In future apply for one lot only since it will not make any difference if the issue is over-subscribed.

how does shares are alloted to HNI category in case of over subscription?
How does it work for allotment once oversubscribed? If this goes over 13 times then lottery since max we can do is 13 lots? When does it make sense only to put min 1 lot as anyways all will be lottery? I had the math figured out sometime back but now forgotten as been out of the IPO scene for a while.
Well Maths have changed now. For retail applications allocation works something like this - First effort is made to give 1 lot to every applicant (regardless of no. of lot applied for). Once all applicant has received one lot, only than more shares will be allotted to bidders bidding for more than 1 lot. So in most cases for good IPO, it makes sense only to apply for 1 lot, and not more than 1 lot from single account.
Hey dude, there is nothing like maths. Its all luck basis. I had applied single lot with max bid price ,but no allotment (for dmart and radio city). So just forget about the maths and apply max as much as you can hold.
There is maths if number of applications is less than total lots available. If total application is more than lots available, then its luck. But in either case applying for more than 1 lot in single application does not change anything except for blocking more money.
If subscription is more then 1x, then just apply for one lot and instead of max bid price, use cut-off. I also not sure if there is any difference in between cutoff and max bid (if both are same). I am always applying only with cut-off if subscription is more than 1x and that too with only one lot.
