source - worked in govt dept, can not mention many things here, but ........ never go long in PSU''s they have given decent return in past, but that was past

Senior members, please comment-
1. When your money are in Lien in during IPO application, do you still get bank interest for that amount (for 8-10 days)?
2. If the IPO if going to subscribe 10 times or more in retail, would you recommend to apply for entire 2 lakh amount or a smaller amount? What is the best strategy in such cases?
3. Alankit has many website, difficult to know which one is genuine or fake.

1. you get, you do not, depends on bank
recently ICICI bank have started giving interest on money blocked in trading a/c
2. its always good to apply 1 lot in retail, follow this blindly, why?
a) if application wise subscription is more than 1X which will be in good IPO''s you will get only one lot, so why to block money unnecessarily,
b) if subscription is less than 1X than you may get more than one lot, but there is a risk, less than 1X shows bad demand and you may loose on listing day

3. do not worry about that, you will get message if you get shares, well before listing, I know everyone is curious to know results of allotment, but over curiosity is harmful in market, it shows over emotions, and such emotions cause you to loose

Registrar of the issue- Alankit Assignments Ltd- is responsible for the allotment of IPO shares and refund process. An Alankit Assignments official said that for the retail category allotment of HUDCO shares will be done on lottery basis. But for other categories the basis of allotment is not finalised yet. Investors can check the details of allotment of IPO on Alankit website from May 18 onwards, the official added. A separate link will be added to the website for this purpose.



Meanwhile, Investors can also check details of their application like bid quantity, price, number of shares allotted on the Bombay Stock Exchange website. Once the basis of allotment is finalized, the refund process will start. The refund process and credit of IPO shares to the applicant''s demat account will happen on or by May 18.

After allotment, the final step in the IPO process is listing, which in the case of HUDCO is likely to happen around May 19, 2017. HUDCO shares will be listed both on National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange

Grey Market Price is 20.50-21.00 means per share this amount is given by account acquirer?
As this HUDCO contains 200 quantity then its make grey market value is 200*20=4000?
