Applied 3400 got 0. can not believe.

Why is such bad allotment done? I mean the IPO of Avenue Supermarts (D-Mart) was subscribed way more than this but the allotment done was satisfactory. I am seeing multiple comments saying applied for 2000 shares allotted 0 applied 3000 allotted 0 applied 1000 allotted 0, I myself had applied for 2000 shares and got allotted 0. I refuse to believe that this was a just or unbiased allotment. I am pretty sure some messing up with the allotment process is surely done. and also selecting such an agency who has no reputation in the field against reputed agencies like karvy and link intime doesn''t add up. If anyone has any knowledge regarding this matter do share!

I too agree with you. There are no sufficient safeguards against allotment process in retail category especially when the ipo is oversubscribed application wise in order to ensure integrity of the same. Even I made 9 applications but got allotted Zero.

Yaa exactly, everyday new and new investors turn towards this market but there''s no system to safeguard their interests. This is a big flaw in the system which is nicely exploited by people with influence. Either sebi should drag them to courts or these type of cases should be challenged in court through PIL. But some serious action is necessary now to safeguard interest of increasing investors.
