Guys, I have a demat account in IIFL (which does not provide an online IPO buying service) and a citibank saving account. If I want to buy IPO online which bank would you recommend to have an account opened? Do I have to open another demat account or to buy an IPO I dont need to have a demat account (and double pay charges associated with it)? Please suggest. Thanks
Will suggest you to go with SBI . It saves the applicant NAME for faster application in future. And one person can only have one demat account. Other accounts (if any ) are so called trading account. So no need to open new trading account. Apply with ASBA through SBI.
Chillkamas, I have also demat account is IIFL. U should have one bank account and Internet banking. (Any Bank) .and register yourself Through ASBA...fill your all details in ASBA Like Your demat account name ,pan card number, CDSL/NSDL UR DEMAT ACCOUNT NUMBER. ..ADDRESS. than all are registered. Than u can apply online Ipo through ur net banking.
I have an IIFL Demat. Added the details to my online SBI. Takes a minute.

An indicative timetable is given on the home page of the particular IPO. 3) What is GMP? ans. All respested and knowledgeable member like Eagleye and others are updating gmp regularly so read all comments. 4) 5) we should apply or not? ans. Can you share your logic for comparing with REC ? However we can put companies like pnbhfl and nbcc for comparison.
let the price band and dates be finalized first. if there is decent GMP, it''s may be worth applying.
in HNI quota, allotment will be on Pro rata basis. suppose it is oversubscribed 10 times, than you will get 10% (1/10) of what you have applied for.
